Worth its weight in gold. Incredible value and quality.
TLDR - This is an outstanding setup, and could not be happier. I have run out of things to sharpen for the first time ever. Everyone with beveled edge knives should have one. Ruxin - WELL DONE!!! I have had a few knife sharpeners over the years, including the worthless previous ruxin plastic model with suction cup and ball joint. I was tempted to go else where this time, but the new model looked workable. Its all metal and has proper clamping this time for both the blade and the guide itself. I'm shocked at the improvement over previous models. There is simply no comparison. This thing is amazing and a steal for its going price. Sharpening is a breeze now as the guide bar has limiters now to prevent you from pulling to far, and the stones are even easier to attach than before. The knife clamp is a massive improvement as it frees up your other hand and keep your fingers from getting ground off on passes. It also is perfect for holding the angle. Flipping the blade results in a satisfying thump as it locks back into place for honing the other side. There are some minor issues, such as: The screws for locking down the blade are a bit tough to work with and hurts your fingers after 10-15 knives. YES 10-15! in one sitting. With older systems i was lucky to get two done before I was too frustrated to continue. The thumb screws for the blade clamps back-out regularly too, so keep an eye on that as it causes thing to wobble. Don't forget to lubricate that bearing. It starts to gum up after a few knives. I use food safe silicon oil. 10/10

Its fiddly and not precise
I bought this particular one since it was an entry level price point and had decent reviews. Like probably any of these type of sharpeners, it takes practice, but it will sharpen. However, the design and fitment is not precision to allow for repeatability and I won’t use it on any of my expensive knives. I have noticed that no matter how I set it up, the angle varies by at least 1/2 a degree between sides when you flip it. That is actually a lot when trying to match a precision edge. The clamps get in the way when sharpening either a low angle blade or one that isn’t very deep, so you end up hitting the clamp with the stones, even if you clamp the blade way out towards the spine, which then it is prone to dislodge. I have to use my digital protractor basically every time I re-clamp anything and then try and adjust the angle, which to get small angle changes is frustrating. The stones that come with it are not all the same thickness, so that adds to the fun.

Functional and precise knife sharpening
I’m not a professional chef or knife fanatic but I do enjoy cooking and appreciate a sharp knife. I’ve been using wet stones and have inconsistent results. I get sharp knives but the sharpness varies along the edge. With the sharpening tool I’ve been able to get more accurate angles and consistency from my knives. Granted there are limits of this tool but for the money you get precision and consistency during the sharpening process. The unit comes in its own compact case and is easy to setup. Main base assembly clamps to a table top or work bench. Stone arm is two pieces that join end to end with thumb screw. Post screws into base and locks in with thumb screws. Sets up in minutes. Plenty of adjustments with the knife clamp, stone arm and post. Smooth actuation pulling the stone across the blade. The knife clamp easily flips blade 90 and 180 degrees to sharpen both sides of the blade without removing the knife from the fixture. Note I headed comments from other users about buying a set of diamond stones and have not regretted that purchase. I also ended up getting a good digital angle finder to accurately zero the blade and then set the stone angle. I recently used 17-18 degrees (typical for Japanese knives) and got great results. One more thing. Learn how to use a leather strop to hone the blade to razor edge. You can easily spend more money from other vendors for the same unit so be careful when looking at included parts and features.

Much improved over the older version that i own.
The adjustable jaws that hold the blade allows you to use smaller knives and is a better fit for larger knives. I had bought the separate attachment that is gear driven and much superior to the own includes here although it is also an improvement older the original unit., A potential problem maybe that the screws that tighten the individual blade holder is white shallow and may lead to striping the heads . I believe that the diamond stones you can buy seperately are superior to the actual stones . Unfortunately you only use the finer stones and therefore I will never use the stones from 80 - 800 on my kitchen knives. One other potential problem is the rubber feet covering the jaws that hold the knive blade, they are thin and slip off easily. One extra one is included in the kit, without these you would damage the slide of the blade. The thickness of the rubber on the older units was much thicker.

Take your time, use very little pressure
I'm going to be serious here- If you are not a sushi chef, this isn't a bad deal. The stones are not the best quality. But the unit itself offers a consistent guide for sharpening your Walmart or Pioneer Woman knife sets. Follow the instructions. Do not use a lot of pressure, you will wear the stones out after one knife. Take slow smooth stroke AWAY from the cutting edge. Honing towards will wear a stone out in no time. Progress through all six stones 10 strokes on each side. I used windex to lube. Be sure to soak the stones in water for 20 minutes. Again, delicate strokes like a surgeon. I did 4 knives in and hour and 15 minutes That was mounting, flipping and going through all the stones. TAKE YOUR TIME. It's not a race. After I was done, I have 3 pioneer woman knives and a chef's knife pretty damn sharp. WAAAAY better than when I started. Just for fun, I polished them on an old leather belt. I am happy with the results. They all cut through a cardboard shake and bake box with ease.

Very good!

Muy buen afilador, deja los cuchillos bastante parejos de ambos lados, las piedras son de calidad regular, pero cumplen su funcion.

Pas mal, mais les pierres s'usent ultra vite. On voit l'usure à vue d'oeil. Après une séance d'affûtage d'une dizaine de couteaux office et 6 couteaux chef la pierre est diminuée d'1/3

Bom produto, um pouco complicado de usar num primeiro momento, mas depois que se pega o jeito funciona bem demais.
