I bought one of these when my daughter was born and have bought many as a gift for other new parents. The womb like sound soothes a baby to sleep easily and as its activated by movement and sound it often kicks in and does its job without the parent properly waking. It gets the baby back to sleep without the touch or voice of the parent which leads to much happier sleeping patterns in the future as they don't rely on a pick up and cuddle to get them back to sleep. The silk cloth that comes with it also allows the mothers smell to be close by so a slightly restless baby is soon content with the sound and smell of mummy. You can cope much better with the demands of a new born if you get some sleep and everyone I have bought this for has said its the best present they were given. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Worth investing in if you have trouble settling your baby. The heartbeat is comforting - I took my babies for a photo shoot and the photographer used this successfully to calm the twins so I also invested and have been using it for a few weeks now. Works for me - the heartbeat sound doesn't bother me but worth considering the sound if you're in the same room as your baby and think it will bother you.

The product its self is lovely, soft, cute and works well. Unfortunately the presentation box is ruined due to postage labels, bar codes and marker pen. This is a gift for a baby shower but looks like a jumble sale find. No option to contact the seller. Very disappointed.

Bought this for my 3 month old nephew. His parents had bought a different product similar to this and they have stated that thePrince Lionheart is superior to the product they bought. It arrived on time in tact and it has helped ease the baby to calmness. They are more than pleased which means I am as well. Bought for daughter to give her at Baby Shower for her first child. Already purchased the Slumber Bear 7 years and 3 years ago for other grandchildren when they were born and also one for friend's grandchild. All the mothers said this 'white noise' helped to settle the baby. The bear also looks really cute in the crib.
