Smudges
If you are expecting to see a dog, not going to happen. I now identify my golf balls with the blue smudge.

Very poor quality poor image
There is no way to replinish the ink. I even tried an ink pad but the image is so.shallow it just puts a color dot on the ball. Don't buy!

It worked well through a dozen and a half of golf balls. After that it became faded, and not usable. Cool to mark a ball, but quality of longevity is not the best.
