Just right
I didn’t look at the size of this and imagined an a4 ish size so was surprised when it’s probably A5ish size which on reflection is better for the 3 year olds little hands it was bought for. Nice quality paper pages not thin and flimsy a nice colouring book.

Perfect for 10months-3 years
Perfect for 10months-3 years. One side is plain, the other has a simple, bold picture with things that will interest little ones. The pages are thick and durable. It is about the size of an A5 sheet of paper and is perfect to tuck into a bag for meals out and car journeys.Pictures include: firefighters, boats, farm animals, dinosaurs, people, children

Great pictures for toddler but could be larger pages
Really liked the simple pictures with thick lines, the paper is nice and thick so the print and the colouring doesn't show through, there is only one picture per page (not double-sided like a lot of the cheaper colouring books) and I like the pad format. And there are about 40 pages/pictures, so this seems pretty good compared to a lot of other kids colouring books we have for the same price where they are either double sided or have half (or less) the amount of pictures. My main criticism is that although the A5 size is good for my little boy (2yo) to hold, its a bit small for him to colour on without scribbling off the pages. The price was ok at £2.99, due to the positives above, but it would have been better to maybe have less pictures and bigger pages for the age group?

Great
Great - just the right size for young children. I'd bought another first colouring book but it was partly coloured in with instructions on which colours to use - which my two daughter didn't want to follow. This is better for her age group as she can colour it all in as she wishes. She enjoys looking at the different pictures too.

Galt First Colouring Pad
Really lovely colouring book, simple pictures, 1 picture per page, so it's blank on one side, you can easily tear them out. The paper is a nice thickness. I bought a few of these for kids gift bags for our wedding, they kept the little ones amused for ages!

Must have for little hands
This was the best colouring book ever, in fact I have ordered the second one! Its smaller then expected, but it was just right for my 3 year old. The pictures are simple and fun for first attempts at colouring and the paper is thick enough that even felt tips dont bleed onto the next page. Great buy, cant recomend it enough!

should be larger for use by toddlers
This Galt colouring pad is excellent quality - the pictures are simple and interesting for little ones; printed on just one side so very easy to 'pull out' and put up for display. However at around 8 x 6 inches its really too small for easy use by a toddler - difficult for them to hold it down with one hand and colour in with the other. It would be perfect if it was at least 12 x10.Yes it does say '3yrs' on the advisory (and would probably be easier to use by a 3yr old) but I take that to mean 'unsupervised play'; most little ones are ready and eager to start exploring art and colours at around 15months and its safe to do so as a joint activity with an adult. Unfortunately the larger books I ordered have more intricate pictures so the search goes on.

First colouring pad.
This is a really nice first colouring pad, with very simple pictures in quite bold, but attractive ink. It has a good assortment of images for both boys and girls. One picture per page and blank on back of picture. Suitable for age about 3-4yrs. Pad measures approx. 8"/21cm x 6"/15cm.
