Best upgrade ever!
I Have the previous version of this and bought this because I wanted a spare.Imagine my surprise to find the model has been upgraded!-The ventilation is much better and doesn't get filled with debris-The temperature settings now click firmly, and you no longer have to worry about it changing during use-There's a cool setting, to finish off your style at the end, or if you just prefer to style without heat-The previous model used to over-heat; once you turned it off you'd need to wait for it to cool down to use it again. Doesn't happen any more!-The ionisation is much more noticeable, and makes your hair feel ridiculously light and soft. (I have Afro hair, this is amazing for me.)-You can style hair even when wet. It'll de dry in less than five minutes and feel amazing. (again, for someone with Afro hair this is almost unheard of. Love!)Could not be happier with this product! The only con, if I had to nit-pick to look for one...Just before the brush head starts there's a little part of the casing that occasionally snags hairs while you're styling. But honestly, it's no more or less than what would normally be expected from brushing your hair. From the ease that I can use this to go from full Afro, wet or dry, to sleek soft and smooth hair, I really don't mind snagging one or two stray hairs... They'll grow back!Just remember to use some heat protection or a styling conditioner and you should love this just as much if not more than I do.

Very Useful - excellent for my thick unruly hair.
This works very well for me - I've got the coordination of a lemon and can't manage to blow dry with a brush and dryer.....just end up poking myself in the eye....But it's not a hairdryer as such, and you need to dry your hair to "almost dry" before using it, or you'll be there for hours. When mine's almost dry, I can use the hot brush to really pull my hair from the roots, up and out to create volume at the roots, and smooth the whole length. The bristles are firm, quite widely spaced, and easily go through your hair.I've got thick longish hair that seriously needs smoothing, and the brush does seem to give a nice sheen, and a lot more volume and movement than you get with straighteners.Of course you can make nice waves with it too - there are videos on utube that show you how to look just like Kate Wassername.....if that's what you want.Haven't had it long enough to know if it keeps working - just a couple of months - but I don't see what will go wrong. There is a version that rotates, and does seem to go wrong, but that would be too complicated for me anyway.

Good
Ideal for my very fine hair...handle is abit big to hold and the on off control is very small to manage..but I am pleased with the brush

hair styler
I have always used a Babyliss hot air styler and have had 2 previously which get used every day, sometimes twice a day so eventually they wear out. I needed a replacement and so ordered a new one. The only adverse comment I would make is that the handle end of the unit has been made a lot wider and more bulky and is not so easy to hold and manouvre as the previously slim-line ones. However, it works well and I expect I will get used to it.

Love this styling wand
Love this styling wand. I use it mainly for finishing drying and styling my hair after using a fast drying stronger dryer. It is also great for restyling just before you go out as I only need to turn it on full power/heat just for 30 seconds to heat up the metal barrel, then turn it down to use as a styler. I live in Iceland and wear beanie hats to walk the dog several times a day but all I need is this styler to make my hair look good again before going out in the evenings etc..I have long fine hair and this is the one hair tool I cannot live without. Curls or straightens hair depending on how you use it. I keep one in the UK too.

Great rush for short hair
I have had many of these brushes over the years. As far as I’m concerned they are the best brushes for short hair. They really give lift at the roots and that is what I wanted. I wouldn’t be without it.

Very disappointed. The picture shows the old hot air styler ...
Very disappointed . The picture shows the old hot air styler which was excellent. What arrived was the new style with the mostawkward switch to use. It's smaller and very flat to the base making it difficult to change settings. Why, when you have a perfectly excellentproduct, tried and tested for years do you have to change it ?? It makes no sense, but then what do I know I'm only the consumer.

Sorry not for me
The hot air blows your hair about so much that I found it impossible to use. Used it once only.
