A little dramatic but watching my kid brush his teeth is the worst. He doesn't want me to help but he doesn't brush well. I have tried so many things to teach how to brush teeth and why we do it. Nothing has worked. That is until we used this. The first time we used it he was grossed out by what was on his teeth and he worked hard to get them clean. It is flavorless and he asks to use it so he can see how he is doing. We talked about plaque and what it does, which we have done before but being able to see it made my words actually mean something.A lot of reviews talked about staining counters or sinks. I have not had that happen but I could see it staining clothes or towels. It has gotten on my fingers and took a couple of washes to come off completely. I have also noticed the bristles on the toothbrush turn a little pink, but that goes away with rinsing a few times. I prefer the pen over tablets because I have more control. I think the tablets are messier and stain more often.

I'm sure you've seen the ads for hismile v34. After researching around quite a bit on that product, I came across this and gave it a try. I'm using this pretty much exclusively for the v34 color corrector. I apply this before brushing, then brush with my normal toothpaste. I've noticed a pretty great improvement in whiteness in my teeth, very pleased with this product. I use it every morning when brushing. This is also significantly cheaper than the other options out there. This was cheap enough to implement into my daily routine. This has no flavor at all. As the product warns, keep in mind about staining fabric. I've gotten a few splatters on my shirts but if you wash right away it does come out. Also, my first time "priming" the stick I accidently twisted it too much and a bunch came out, so keep that in mind and turn slowly. I was a little doubtful on the "180 days" supply but I use it every morning and have been for weeks, and still on my first tube. Even with me accidently oozing out way more than necessary on my first use.

I hated the timer idea bc my kids would just space out for 2 minutes and then think they were done bc the timer went off. This is a great solution bc they have to brush till all the pink is gone. It does stain skin and my 3yo has gone to school with stained lips and hands but I'll take it. It helps me to know where I need to brush his teeth more too.If it gets on a white counter, wipe it up within an hour or it will stain... Still have yet to get to the dentist and see if it has kept cavities away, but both my boys are brushing way more and far longer than they used to.

There was definitely a learning curve, but once we figured out how to apply the right amount (more than you think you need, and then rinse with water after), it was really useful for showing my 6-year-old where she needed to brush more. Now she sometimes asks for "purple brushing" because she likes the sense of visible accomplishment from cleaning off the obvious plaque! I will say it's really hard to see the purple on the back molars, so a dentist's mirror is a great additional purchase.

Sighs....where to begin .....lolNegative:- Delivered on August 29, 2024. Package says EXP: 14/09/2024 sooooo expires 2-weeks from now- The description suggests that it taste different/better than the tablets thus making it good for kids...it taste absolutely terrible....very bitter.....almost like those products you put onto fingernails to stop biting.- Stains everything it touches.....gums, lips, teeth, counters, sinks, toothbrush.....so NOT just tarter.- After brushing with my sonic toothbrush 3-times right after using this, my gums are pink, my lips are pink, and my teeth are outlined with pink.Positive- Price .... that's it.Soooooo.....I don't currently have tarter as I just had an appointment with my dental hygienist on August 27th. It was actually that appointment that got me to thinking about ordering disclosure tablets. I opted for this gel pen due to price and what I thought would be ease of use.In the dentist's office, after cleaning, my hygienist had me use a tablet. There was NO tartar left on my teeth and the red from the tablet brushed right away. This gel pen has left my teeth pink even though there is no tartar. I will be returning it.

I really like these whitening pens. This whitening pen is super easy to use. Initially I turned the bottom part several times until the bleach reached the tip of the brush. Then I simply put a thin layer on each tooth in my mouth. They are not expensive and they do actually work.

The box does not come with directions so I had to come back to this product page to see if there were any things to be aware of. The brush pen is easy to use, although it initially takes a lot of turning before the product clicks up. I can see if I miss a spot while brushing, but I cannot tell if there is any change to how white my teeth gets (have been using for a week, twice a day). This could be user error as I don't let this sit on my teeth for too long before I start brushing. I do have concern that it may stain my sink, so I scrub the sink area afterwards as well. While the product page suggests using this with children, I personally hesitate to do so.

I was using HiSmile’s ID stain identifier but at $35 a pop. It was effective but super expensive.I researched other options on Amazon and found this product which does the exact same job for less than half the price.I was able to get my kid to use this pen which is a lot less messy than the tablets he was using. Super easy to use and effective for finding plaque stains.Would definitely recommend.
