This is the classic card game of 'Top Trumps' - featuring the characters from the DC Universe. So you get a variety of super-heroes and super-villains, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Joker, and Catwoman. In total, there are 30 cards to play with. Each character is assigned their own powers and abilities, and this is a simple and fun game to play.In high street shops, this item typically sells for £5 - so at £3.69 (as I review) it's a bargain. I bought this for my young nephews, to play while they travel in the back seat of the car ... it keeps them occupied, and they think it's a great game. The cards come in a secure plastic case.

Do kids still play Top Trumps, I wondered one day? Thought I'd buy my son a set, expecting him to tell me they were lame and old. Boy, was I in for a surprise. I like the idea that while he's having fun playing with his mates, secretly he's learning too - nothing heavy duty but learning nonetheless. These are a good quality set. Graphics are decent. Containers fine. The important thing is: my son has already bought his third set.

Good quality cards for the price paid and do their job well. Only fault I could find was the case comes apart each time it’s opened but not a huge inconvenience. Would buy again in the future - can not fault delivery or customer service.

We all know what top trumps is so no need to go into that, what this is, is a great way to interact and get the kids off their tech. These are great for a dc fan or not, lots of back and forth with all cards beatable, so come backs are possible and great fun. If It goes on to long do the count back to find the winner! The boy loves them, and tbh so do I. Always a little smile when you get the batman (fighting skills) or Martian man hunter (height) ;) lol. Received the item as pictured (some reviewers did not) including the case. I am a big fan on Top Trumps cards, having had similar sets since I was a child back in the 80s and currently owning a fair few different-themed ones. They are of good quality and make an excellent stocking filler or smaller birthday gift. Very good for any fan of DC comic superheroes, makes a welcome change to electronic toys. We have other Top Trumps packs which are really useful for travel games or when you're out and about. This item is a birthday gift for a superhero-obsessed 6 year old.

These cards were pretty good. They arrived quickly and in some respects are excellent. Male to female ratio isn't too bad, and is very good when compared to Marvel's recent efforts. My problems begin with including characters associated with superheroes like Lois Lane, who have nothing to bring to the table. Would have been much better to include someone like Huntress in place of her. Happy with categories on the cards, although my favourite combination would be: Height; Weight; Intelligence; Strength; Speed; Durability; Agility; Energy Projection; Fighting Skills; Weapons Skill. Let's hope they bring out another pack soon. . . .

My kids are enjoying these. They wanted the super hero girls but the categories were sexist when I looked at the pictures. These are much better and feature a good selection of female super heros.

These have provided hours and hours (and hours!) of fun for my five year old. He's crazy about numbers. He has the stats of almost every card memorized. He's just learning to read so he can make out the category names enough to play. And he almost always wins.
