I use these wrapped around the window on a plug timer for ambient lighting in a bedroom and while they're the old fashioned bulb style, I have purchased 3 sets now and each has lasted me 2 years exactly while using ~6 hours daily so I've really been getting my moneys worth.Something to keep in mind is that the lights are in a series (circular) circuit, so once a certain amount of lights blows or cable gets damaged all of them will stop working.The price of them hasn't increased since, so I'm very happy I can repurchase them and don't have to look elsewhere :)

Lovely Xmas tree lights just enough for a 6 foot tree quite easy to get off of the tree really liked the softer shade of these traditional lights much more restful and pretty the LED ones are so bright you could not see the decorations on the tree so pleased I changed to these

11/12/24 Edited to add that one of the things I like is that the yellow lights are a soft orange, and that as well as the blue, green, and red lights there are pink.So far so good. I've only received them today and given them a switch on so don't know how well they will last.Lights in a loop. Only 100 bulbs quite close to one another. I will arrange on the front of my tree (in a corner) as there will not be enough to go around and around.Push in bulbs (bit fidley to remove as don't want to pull the bulb itself but the case).Didn't work. Changed the fuse bulb. Changed the fuse in the plug. Gave all the bulbs a push. Tried changing a couple of bulbs. Nope.Was on the verge of sending back when going through the bulbs again I noticed that one of the bulbs didn't look like it was pushed in as far as the others. After a lot of faffing I found the holder just a smidge too tight for the bulb. After a lot of effort got the bulb in far enough to make contact with the holder and up they all lit. Relieved.Very bright but not obnoxious like the LED set that I own and simply cannot abide.In the winter I like lots of fairy lights around to lift the gloom.

I bought these last December to have new ones available this year to pop on my tree. They worked when I plugged them , however 5 minutes later were off and wouldn’t come on again. Very disappointing. I have 40 year and 30 year old lights that still work. Just such a shame that everything is made to such a poor standard these days. Money is put far above work ethic and pride. I fear for our children’s future immensely!!

Warm lights with green wires but not in a strong end to end - instead in a circle so more difficult to use.

100 clear Christmas lightsThese lights are just what I was looking for. They are the traditional incandescent type and are much warmer than modern lights. They are not too bright, instead being more subtle which was perfect for me and they will generally be bright enough for most cases in my opinion. Additionally, the lights are also in a loop which means they can be difficult to put on a Christmas tree but they are around a frame in my case so they work perfectly. My lights did not work straight out of the box however the problem was just a loose bulb and was easily fixed and they now work perfectly. There was also 3 spare bulbs and a fuse bulb included which was much appreciated as replacement bulbs are expensive for how many you get. Although they do use more energy, they are not too bad as they are not too bright. Using around 35w for the whole set which is relatively low for a traditional set of lights. They also get warm which some people were worried about in their reviews however this is completely normal for incandescent lights and is generally not a fire hazard which some people worry about. Overall very happy with these lights and are very good value for money.

Great product, value for money, excellent last minute purchase which look great on the Christmas tree 🎄 - would recommend.

These are so beautiful and exactly how I remover them from being a kid in the early 00s. I was very sceptical by the reviews but for me, so far, everything has gone well. I did handle these with care though. I used gloves to handle them and tried not to touch the bulbs and was very gentle putting them up. I didn’t let them hit the floor whilst unraveling them like you would do with LEDs so I think that’s why they’re fine. I’m also going to carefully wrap them up and store them wrapped in bubble wrap when I take the Christmas decorations down so hopefully they will last a long time. They came with spare bulbs which is good. I’m so happy that a company is actually still making these lights. The LEDs they mass produce now are too harsh and blue and they also give me a headache, I hate them so much but these lights make me feel so warm and nostalgic. They remind me of being a kid and snuggling up with a hot chocolate while watching The Grinch on Christmas Eve. As soon as I turned them on I thought “Yes, now these are real Christmas lights” They made my heart feel fuzzy and I teared up a little because it took me straight back to when Christmas meant seeing all my family, which I can’t anymore. Thank you for the beautiful lights I love them!
