Great fun!
A very reasonably priced trainset. We bought it as a 1st birthday preesnt for our little boy, we knew he was a little small but wanted something we could build on. Having shopped aorund this was the best value for money with all the included decorations such as trees, cars, houses and people. He hasn't quite grasped the track yet but he does love pushing the trains around on the floor. We also chose this one as it is compatible with other trains and sets and a fraction of the price. The quality seems just as good

Bigjigs Rail Figure of Eight Train Set.
Top value and excellently designed basic train set for younger children. Also has additional cars and figures included, so there's everything you could want to start playing "trains" with a curious toddler, and everything in the box is bright and robust, so stands up well to little hands. Easy assembly and magnetic links mean set-up's a doddle for youngsters, and there's a huge range of compatible add-on toys available too, so it can be updated to maintain fresh interest and provide even more play value at intervals. Would recommend this very highly if you're looking for a first train layout.

Great set and great value for money
A lovely little set, compatible with all kinds of rail figurines, not just those provided - my 2 year old is having lots of fun pushing his Thomas characters around it! Very easy to assemble - even tiny 2 year old fingers can do it! - and hours of fun to play with. Quick delivery, great product.

Versatile
This set is very sturdy and fun for my young grandson. I have purchased other Big Jig items for my other grandchildren. They are compatible with other brands. I would recommend them.

Wooden train set
Bought as a gift fir my grandson as I liked the idea of being able to add to it for birthdays and Christmas so the set could grow with him. It's a good initial starter as it's a figure eight track and being wooden means it can withstand rough play.

Great quality and value
I bought this for my grandson's 3rd birthday, it's sturdy and easy to assemble. I'm pleased with the quality of the product and have ordered a tunnel and train wash to add to the collection. My grandson loves playing with this for prolonged periods of time. It's also great that it is compatible with other makes, we ordered a Thomas train and is a perfect fit. I would highly recommend this starter set as great value and cheaper alternative to brio.

Fantastic starter set!
Can't speak highly enough of this train set. Bought for 2 year old buy. Its a great set to start with which we can add to. The track and all the pieces are made of good quality wood and are very sturdy. The bright colours of the accessories are great- he uses them with this train set and also with an activity mat, so they're multi-functional. He absolutely loves the set and would play with it all day long and nothing else if he had his way! Would 100% recommend
