A bit low but sturdy
These are the dimensions described, but until you sit on one you may not realize just how low they are. I am a 200 pound man, and after carefully testing one out, I had confidence in their sturdiness. These quickly and easily fold for very compact storage. I purchased 2 for temporary seating on a boat for brunch. Would be perfect for a child! Worked OK for adults. The quality appears uniform across the 2 purchased. No faults found

Perfect Little Bathroom Stool
We needed a small stool or chair in our bathroom and due to space constrictions it had to be really small, this fit the bill. Golly does it! My 200+ hubby sits on this when he's getting dressed after his shower, we've had a few people test this little stool out and it's holding up fine. It's pretty, folds up easily and compactly when not in use and it's comfortable. Granted, it is a stool and I would not recommend it for anyone who has a problem getting up from a sitting position but it's great for general use: kids in particular I would think.

No complaints!!
I find the bamboo folding stool very well made, attractive and far exceeds its value to price! I have not had it very long so will reserve the rating on durability. I find that sturdiness for seating is great despite the small size of the stool; it has good seating in two positions, granted I am not a very tall person but am not very thin either. Im not sure as a step stool though, as I have tried to use to position my leg on it for shaving and it has slipped as it is also not heavy. Either way I am very happy with this very affordable, fully assembled folding stool.

Works well
For the price/description this stool does well. It's advertised as a foot rest, but I have been using it as a normal stool for my sauna and it has worked fine for me so far. For context I am 6'1" 205lbs, certainly pushing the weight limit for it. But so far no problems, been using it about a month now. A little short to use as a stool for someone my size but manageable.

It broke and impaled me
I love this product, it was pretty and sturdy and great. Then I was using it and it literally collapsed under me and plummeted me down onto upward facing rusty nails. I’d show you the aftermath, but I’m not keen on showing that on the internet. It would be great to store stuff, but if you’re even considering putting any part of your body on it, go choose something else.

Great shower solution for the price!
It's hard to beat this stool for the price. I also like that it is made from natural materials. It's a perfect stool to use in the shower for shaving my legs. It's low, so I don't sit on it but use it for a foot rest. Saves me standing on my head in the shower. I just keep it folded in the nearby linen closet until I need it, but you could also fold and hang it, if you wanted. I did need to return the first stool I got, because one of the side pieces was split. The next one I got had a a bit of splintering around the hole in one of the cross braces. I just sanded it smooth, and it's fine.

Small Bamboo Shower Stool
Oh the bamboo seed is smaller than I had envisioned. However I’m using it in my shower and I had to put the shower mat underneath so it doesn’t slide around. It’s sturdy enough to sit on and I’m not a huge person I’m 56 and 123 pounds so I can imagine anybody bigger might have some challenges with this particular style. I do like it!

Would recommend. Nice stool - you just need to know how to take care of it.
I personally love this thing. Bought it exactly what it's for - shaving legs. People complain about it not being sturdy enough for sitting on it or that it gets "moldy". First of all - it's not for sitting on, silly people. Second of all - don't keep it in a moist shower area, if you want to preserve the look. Third of all - the dark spots that form on it from keeping it in constant moisture are not black mold, but normal water stains that normally form on any wood. The stool has been treated to prevent that, but if you constantly keep it in wet environment, that 'pre-treatment' is bound to wear off and water stains will form on it. That's not the manufacturer's fault, that's your own fault for not taking care of it or being lazy to not take it out of the shower. I take it out of the shower every time I shave may legs, shake off any excess water, let it dry and then stow it away. I've had it for over half a year, and lo and behold not "black mold" or any of those black water stains.I find it very useful and would still recommend and would buy again if it eventually breaks down on me.
