A must buy
A must by but would recomend buying 4 sets. Tool worked unbelievably well, i used a torque wrench to put my lockbolts on my nissan micra and destroyed the floral design in the centre of the socket so decided to try these to save time and money taking the car to a garage, after gently tapping the socket on a few times and it poping off when i tried to turn it, i used a bit of force to hit the socket on and was amazed at how easy it removed the bolts. however, getting the bolts out of the socket was an absolute nightmare, i tried using a vice as some of the other comments suggest and only succeeded in polishing the tread smooth, in the end i used an angle grinder allong with the vice to flatten off opposite sides of the bolts as close to the socket as i could and an extension bar on the end of the wrench to allow extra leverage as turning it off. To get the bolts off the car only took 2 minits but getting the bolt out of the socket took 30minits the first time then 10 minits the other three times. After removing all 4 bolts the socket is still like new with the threads staying sharp ready for the next use. Overall very impressed with the socket and would definatly recomend to anyone. using the tool saved me around a £200 garage bill so is excellent value for money and is so cheap that if needed you could buy 4 and still save money doing it yourself and not have struggle removing the old bolts/nuts from the tool

Too big & too small
Didn’t work at all with combination of lump hammer, impact driver & hand tools. Largest one is too big & damaged alloy. Smaller one couldn’t bite into Honda CRV wheelnut at all. Exceptionally poor.

It was not easy but after about 45 minutes I managed to get it onto the nut on my Mk III Mondeo. I think it was probably slightly too small as I've seen videos of people using these with no trouble online. Still got the wheel off so I'm happy :)

They work
First tip ... dont loose your locking wheel nut key! but if your reading this then its probably too late for this! These worked really well for me removing some after market wheel nuts on my Freelander. QuickFit could not help as they only had a very used hammer on tool. Removing the wheel nut was easy just selecting the correct size and simply undoing it but like some other reviews on this, the difficult part is getting the locking wheel nut out after you have removed it. On the side of the road as a quick fix for a flat no problem but I would suggest you replace them all at home and have an angle grinder ready and some new locking wheel nuts! After try lots of different methods the easiest way I found to remove the old nut from the socket was to use an angle grinder to flatted off 2 sides of the nut which is sticking out of the socket and using an open spanner to grip the nut while you undo (in the direction of tightening as it is an opposed thread) the not from the socket. Dont try grips as you will just end up dulling the teeth while the the nut turns!

If you really want to give it a try, read this
Every time I sent my car to a garage, it went back with more problems than solutions. This time, again, with no exception, when I went to a garage to get a puncture repair, they damaged my locking wheel nuts key and of course, blaming the other garage that changed my tyre a few months ago for over tighten the nuts. So, now I service my car myself, fix my car myself, and have to remove the locking wheel nuts myself. This laser locking wheel nut remover is difficult to work with. you will need these things:1. the locking wheel nut with rotation ring removed (youtube it and there are many solutions, best way is to use a screw driver bit and a hammer). the first picture is the nut with rotation ring.2. a sledgehammer, yes, the one with big, heavy and flat metal head. you need to hammer the remover hard to get it bite to the nut.3. an impact wrench (air or electric). I don't think it is possible to use a hand wheel wrench, because you need to push it hard while unlocking the nut.If you have the three things above, with a bit of patient you should be fine. I've only used the small one which I believe is 18mm or 19mm. and, yes, once you take one nut off, it is impossible to get the nut released from the remover. to remove all four nuts you probably have to buy four sets!

It work. But if your locking nut is too ...
It work. But if your locking nut is too tight, you have to have a air impact wrench. And after you remove one, you absolutely not able to remove the locking nut from the remover. So, in my case, because it was too tight, I can only remove one. The remaining, I am going to ask someone to remove it.

Great.
Purchased these to remove a locking wheel nut on a Ford Focus.I used the smaller remover with a cordless impact wrench.Pressed the remover onto the locking wheel nut, placed the impact wrench in reverse and ten seconds the locking wheel nut was off.To get the locking wheel nut out of the remover I had to grind two flats on the locking wheel nut and grip it in a vise, then just used a ratchet to unscrew the remover.

Save your money
There's two reasons I'd not recommend these to anybody: The first is the fact that wheel nuts come in different sizes and while you do get two different sizes in the pack, they're still not certain to fit your car. So you're taking a gamble in buying them.Secondly, while one of them did initially grab onto the wheel nut, they weren't able to maintain their hold while trying to undo them. Again, this is due to sizing.I would just recommend you go down to your local tyre fitter and get them off for a tenner. Just take it as a lesson learned and take better care of your next locking wheel nut key.
