Worth every penny!
I was in the shop one day and I was going to build this saw from an idea I had and an older model 77 saw when I wondered to myself if this had been done before... I looked up water skilsaw and that’s when I purchased this saw! It’s great! I use it once a week or so. I do wish I could adjust and put more water through it without modifying this one replaceable part. It is set to add just enough water to create a paste of the concrete dust. That’s great for inside cutting but outside I like more water so the blade is kept cooler and the paste is diluted thereby making the rinsing easier on long cuts. There is virtually zero dust! I use a shaped piece of wood jammed into the handle to give a taller handle so I can kneel and cut. I’m going to make a taller handle for it this winter.

Whoever designed this saw really knew what they were doing!
I don't leave a lot of reviews but this saw was very impressive. Very well designed; coming from a tool guy. Every aspect of the saw is well thought out. The dual water spray quenched every bit of dust as compared to saws with just one nozzle. To be honest wearing a respirator was a waste (still use your PPE just in case!) The vacuum attachment picked up most of the dirty water which is great if you are sawing inside in an existing room. The water fitting has a quick-disconnect and a valve that helps meter the flow to get it right. The saw has a latch that after you plunge the saw down into the concrete, it retains it so you only have to now push it forward. The "skateboard" baseplate and wheels design helps keep it even and you only have to slightly push to cut. The flip out guide is really nice to keep the saw moving straight but I like that it flipped back and out of the way if you are sawing close to a wall. The worm drive eliminates all kickbacks, and the guarding around the blade completely eliminated any debris from coming back at me (I would say I didn't need my safety glasses, but use your PPE!). The vacuum attachment is nice with a hand key tightening band, and fit my standard vacuum hose perfectly. With a new blade this saw cuts fully cured concrete at about 2 feet every minute. Since it does spray water, having the built-in GFCI in the cord was a nice touch if you don't otherwise have a GFCI outlet nearby or another extension cord with an integral one. Everything connected well, had the saw out of the box and up and running in a few minutes. I can hardly think of another tool that I have owner or used that was so well thought out. I liked it the most of how it didn't generate any dust or floods of water, and cut very straight and with low user effort. Cheers to the engineers at Skil for this saw.

This saw is unbelievable.
So Skillsaw.....you have done it again. As soon as I saw this saw on Amazon Prime I ordered it right away. I bought it to save money when cutting our next concrete slab on a house we are starting. But as it was just sitting waiting to be tried out I had some 3/8" concrete siding to cut do I thought ....hay use the new saw....so I got it out and i really did not want to get it all dirty from cutting with the water. So I cut it dry and hooked up our shop vac. Wow I can't tell you how much I love this saw. I have never cut concrete board even with a mask and not smelt the dust. This thing was unreal. I never smelt any dust ant I could hardly see any also. Skill you hit a grand slam with this tool. Thanks for making it. I'll never cut concrete or concrete board with any other saw. Trust me people this is the bomb. Buy it you will never regret it. I bought it with out the long handle and then a few days later when I was back on Amazon it came up with the large handle. So now that I cut the board with it I think I'll buy another one with the handle for slab cutting and keep this one for concrete board cutting.

Good saw but did not receive a brand new one
Upon opening package, saw appears to have been used and returned. Covered in cement dust.

I have beat this saw beyond what it's ment to do
Only thing is I don't like being on my knees to cut but this saw cuts strait clean doesn't chip intersections are super clean I've made a little over 2000 dollars with this saw since I've opened it and the picks are the hardest I've pushed it concrete cures slow under water it was raining for two days straight I had to get it done it was hard this was a 50 yard shop floor 2 80 foot cuts and 7 35 foot cuts in up to 4 inch deep water the concrete dust/mud was blowing out the dust collecter.I bout this just to cut my personal driveway 2 70 foot cuts and 5 20 foot cuts I've since cut 6 pool decks and 6 good sized garage floors and a tone of random decorative things this little saw is the business I just ordered the walk behind to get off my knees the only downside is it's not gas but my generator runs it just fine thanks skill it cuts super straight and doesn't chip intersections honestly my favorite of the 7 saws in my van blades are cheap I started with the whirlwind and the bosch. Bosch rocks on hard stuff whirlwind is great for pea gravel mix and greener mud obviously there are better blades out there but 400 bucks total I'm just now need ING a new blade I highly recommend this saw I hope the walk behind is as impressive
