knowing the extensive fan base of Tolkien I'm certain you're not here for this key ring to be a key ring, I've seen the review saying that's its weight is to much, its to bulky, who cares?! this key is utterly beautiful, it comes in a beautiful box and it itself is just wow, its made out of metal making it very durable I don't like how you cant remove the key from its links just to be the key but that is my only complaint, if you're not going to get this you're not a fan! this is a must have whether or not you get this rather sized key ring or to get one of the more expensive versions. this is a must have for any fan, it is highly detailed, the runes upon it are very visible and if you read cirth like I do you will be more then able to read it. The attached picture is very lovely, it depicts the map of which plays a large roll in the film and on the other side is the films lets say, trademark picture of just "The Hobbit" I cannot stress to you how much I love this key I am so overjoyed to have it, what's great is the box it comes in, the holder is made of a soft velvety material that cradles the key excellently. you will be more then able to take out the key and then put it back into the box without the box having even looked opened, so you can just make is safe or put it on display. I love this key, it generally made me extremely happy to have received and I tell you you shall not be disappointed! For £8 this key is fabulous; just fabulous.

An amazingly beautiful and well-made item.The key itself, is in my own opinion a bit too heavy for a keyring, so I took out the key and used it for a necklace. So it's a good thing the little map is there as well, so you still have something for the keyring itself. Both the key and the map are very detailed and you can easily read the words on the map and the runes on the key.The little copyright mark on the key is the only real complaint I have, but then again, they had to put it somewhere, and it really isn't all that noticable.

If you're having doubts about getting this because youre worried about size or weight etc,then freight not. this key is perfect, its small, like it would be for a human to hold it in the movie, bigger in the film due to dwarf hands, also is heavyish so it feels real! I am an avid fan of LOTR and The Hobbit so I've been looking for cheaper options on prop replicas and merchandise, for the price of the key, its brilliant!! I got it within two days of ordering but it was really a day and a half! when it came, I removed the key chain part and it is now a necklace, this can be easily done, and you can keep the small map part for keys or something. but this item is really good for the price!! I recommend it!

Thorin's key is looking really nice, comes with a good box too. The key is a bit heavy and big - but I am really pleased, because it looks even more realistic like that.I'm pleased of this keychain - will gladly use it and recommend it

One of my favourite things on my keyring!! It looks just like the one in the film and when it says "17cm" I don't think that's referring to the size of the key itself, I think it's referring to the whole length of the key, plus the chain and map??As a woman, I have small-medium sized hands and the picture shows it's size and length.Definitely recommend if you're a fan of Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit, or buying for a fan of the films!!

Super fast delivery which was great and I just love the detailed and durable key keychain. Comes with a nice box, nice mini Tolkien map and I would definitely recommend it to any Hobbit fan.

Great memento, given as a 60th Birthday gift to an avid Lord of the Rings fan. He loved it. Good quality, metal key, not sure it will be used as a keyring tho.

This is not a keychain you would like to have hanging off your keys. It is big and look not too durable. It is worth for a collector.
