possibly its ok
but I used it in the tranny where oil most likely wasn't changed in the past, I would not recommend this product if your oil wasn't regularly changed/by BMW every 100k km/. I still believe its a good quality oil, possibly too smooth for used transmission/mine had 200k km/. After oil change it was driving, shifting ok for 700km than the gearbox started misbehaving and oil was getting quite hot. Had to replace the whole gearbox for a second-hand one.
