I finally parted with what I consider a large amount of cash for this pan. I've had it for a few months now and will happily say it's the best pan I've ever invested in - hands down. Worth every penny. It's actually a rare day that I don't use it. It's stupidly versatile. No matter what the recipe says, I find this does a better job. Super easy to clean no matter what I've been cooking. It's expensive, so it deserves looking after. Follow Le Creuset's use advice and I can see it'll last years. No metal utensils because of the coating.My only wish would be that they offer a uncoated option.

After much deliberation and research, decided to get this pan as it was a good size for our family of 5, and as a fan of one pot cooking I was fed up of frying food that then sticks, and cooking curries, rice dishes and sauces on the hob then having to soak the pan for ages and messy scrubbing! Really I would have liked a stainless steel chef's pan but went for the non stick in the end due to limited options, since we have a couple of other Le Crueset items which have been great and stood the test of time. This pan is a thing of beauty to look at, and as so expensive it will be looked after! The instructions say to properly season it with oil and we are doing this religiously. We've cooked and fried many dishes including lentil curries which are notoriously hard to clean away, and the pan just washes out instantly. Although you 'can' put this in the dishwasher, I've decided to wash by hand as per Le Crueset top tips. Overall, very happy and hope it will last for years and years.

Exactly the type and size we needed with higher sides than a normal pan. Great for frying or tossing food without splashing or spitting outside the pan. Works well with an induction hob.

Fantastic pan. Makes cooking so easy. Easy to clean and keeps looking like new.Highly recommended to anyone who loves a bit of true quality. You won't regret this.

I love Le Creuset stainless pans, so feel free to dismiss me as the fanboy I clearly am. This pan is the bees-knees. It's ergonomic, sturdy and gets hotter than a radiator fitter in the desert. I use it all the time and have a smaller one that acts as a kind of sidekick to the this one. It also fits my induction hob perfectly.

I've bought a few of these as presents for people over the years, and all of the recipients love them. Or at least they tell me they do. I've used my mum's a few times and it's an excellent pan. Great for starting off dishes on the hob and then moving to the oven. Worth the money, but definitely look for offers.

Great quality, quite easy to accidentally permanently discolour the steel if you cook too hot just once. Prepare yourself mentally for it because sooner or later you will. Non-stick coating seems durable and it is easy to cook with and clean.

I am happy to report that a very pleasant member of the customer services staff talked through my case on the phone and said they would replace it immediately. I am very happy with the result and the way they dealt with this problem. Rest assured they replace without quibble if it's faulty.
