Easy to learn, great fun to play
I bought this to play during a family and friends get together. We all quickly got to grips with the rules and had such fun. BYy the end of our family gathering 3 of them had ordered the game to play in their homes!

Love this game
Great game. It’s just cups and dice but the dynamics are so interesting. The more players the better the games. Betting, making strategies and bluffing… This game is addictive!Only thing I don’t understand is the box it comes with. It’s too big for what’s inside but the fabric pouch is great. Perfect game to take with you on holiday or if you’re travelling.

So, You've Read Its a Great Game - But Whats It Like To Live With?
You've read all the reviews about how good this games plays, so I'll focus on living with the game:QUALITYComes in a super sturdy tin, with a nice cloth bag. Let down only by light-weight dice (plural of die :-P) and cheap plastic cups - moulded to simulate leather.Perhaps there should be a Deluxe model with weighted chunky dice, leather cups and a wooden box . . . here's hoping!APPEALIts certainly an addictive game; maybe not to the degree of 'Dobble' or the old classic 'Plus and Minus', but it is certainly up there with the great games - but don't expect the essence of the game to be anything original.FAMILYYes, it certainly is a family game for all ages . . . its says from age 8 on the tin, but a bright 6 year old could handle his game too! Great game;8.5 / 10

Great family game for all ages -Excellent family present
Bought as a Christmas Present for 10 year old nephew and we had great fun with players aged from 10 to 61. It has become a firm favourite and came on holiday with us this year.I think this could be a hit with most hard to buy for teenage boys/men and would, if given a chance, be enjoyed with much good humoured banter by them and their friends.Due to the fun we had and the good quality/price of the item my sister is intending to buy as presents for families on her Christmas list.Whilst luck is involved you also need to fathom out the other players tatics, try to calculate the odds whilst remembering how many die are still in play, control your own face/voice & body language to not give anything away and on occasions just lie, however, most of all just laugh (or groan) until it hurts.PS My ten year old nephew was a adept player and managed all the above very well.

Perfect travel game
OK, so this is Liar Dice. You all roll your dice, keep them hidden under the cup, and predict how many dice of a certain value there will be amongst everyones dice. The number bid has to keep rising, and once it gets high enough, a player may choose to challenge the bid (players may of course choose to completely make up the bid). Everyone shows their dice, and if the bid is too higher, the player who made the bid loses a die. If it is valid, the challenger loses a die. And so on.It's a fun game, young children might struggle, but kids of a certain age will be able to play the odds and join in.And yes, you could play this with your own dice, if you choose to go out and buy 30 dice and some plastic cups. But this comes with colourful dice, cup and a handy carry bag, as well as a good storage tin.Overall, a great game for taking on holiday, or for whiling away the hours.
