Very helpful compilation of resources and learned skills
I found this book to have a wide variety of specialized resources, skills, and techniques that this teacher with over 30 years experience provides. Well written and helpful for teachers, tutors, and parents of students that require specialized learning techniques. I have purchased several resources that Beth Nashrecommended; I've found them quite helpful. I hope this is helpful.

This Book Should be In Every School!
What an enlightening read! This truly empassioned educator would not accept the archaic school rules that actually limit the help a challenged student can get. Thanks to her research, knowledge, and experience, dyslexia is no longer a limit on what a student can achieve in their lives, as society would have us believe. Her true understanding of how the dyslexic brain is wired and functions enabled her to design and build a learning system that shows students how to carve out a joyful and fulfilling future for themselves. "Dyslexics tend to be smart; Brains just wired differently." Her system focuses on the students'" flipside strengths." For those needing a bit more convincing about the heights dyslexics can achieve, they should read the list of past and present-day famous & successful dyslexics who have changed our world for the better. I'm really glad there is such an empassioned and dedicated educator out there like Beth Ellen Nash! If you have dyslexia or know of someone who does, this book has the answers you need!

This Book Opens Understanding Beyond Equipping Kids
Dyslexia Outside-the-Box: Equipping Dyslexic Kids to Not Just Survive but ThriveThis is a very timely book. It has helped me to put some pieces together about a friend of mine in his 70's. Not only does he have dyslexia, but he is partially deaf as well. I have heard him say on occasion, "I am not stupid!" Despite his language debility, he displays other strengths that do compensate. He is still employed now and reared 8 children as a single father in his younger years. He is a survivor indeed. I imagine there are many others like him whose needs have never been addressed.Thank you, Beth Ellen Nash, for persevering. As a former educator in regular classrooms and also for special needs, I highly recommend this book.

DON'T MISS THIS BOOK
This book is fun to read, easy to understand, and brings hope to parents who are discouraged by their child's learning disabilities. Our child has flourished under the instruction of Wings to Soar Online Academy, which is run by Beth Ellen Nash. Our 11 year old daughter, who was told she would likely never read, sat and read A Fish Out of Water this morning, after only 6 months of instruction with Beth Ellen. This book will open your eyes to all the possibilities out there for children who learn differently, and who should never be left behind. You will not regret purchasing this book!
