I am so glad this exists. Yes, date stamps have been around for ages. But egg shells are permeable, and no one wants to eat regular old stamp ink or felt tip ink.This is a great way to keep track of when the eggs were laid so they can be used in the proper order. As he instructions indicate, It initially takes a little practice to get the roll of the stamp just right. But it soon becomes second nature with eggcellent results. Yes, I went there.

Adjusting the dates is ease of use, no hassle. Make sure you don’t have a heavy hand when stamping eggs, learned it the hard way

Great for dating eggs

The stamp doesn't just have month and day numerals; it also has years! I don't think anyone is going to keep eggs for that long. Holding the stamp correctly to get an impression without smearing is hard. The stamp pad is way overpriced.

This is good for jumbo eggs or great for stamping on flat surfaces. We have had to work on a technique to stamp on the curved surface of the eggs. The ink is great for use on the eggs in that it does not wash off completely once it is dry. So don't get it on anything you don't want dated, like your fingers (LOL). It does wash off of hands and countertops with repeated washing. It is a little wide for use on smaller eggs and I don't find it really necessary to have the year on the stamp because you should not keep eggs for that long. JS Overall it does the job but I will keep looking for something that is better suited for dating eggs.

With a little practice, it dates clearly. Helps me keep track of oldest eggs.

I had a bit of a time stamping at first but this was nice! Takes some practice

I purchased this stamp prior to my chickens were old enough to lay. Now that they are old enough, I’m passed my return window which is highly unfortunate as it DOES NOT WORK. The ink smears and is impossible to stamp on an egg. Works fine if you want to use on paper etc....but this was specifically sold to me as an egg-dater. It does not work!!!! Very frustrating that I can no longer send this back. People should not sell a product that does not work for what they claim it does.
