Nice Emergency or Camping Heater for Small Spaces
This unit works as specified and seems to be well built if lightly built. It is intended to be highly portable but probably should not be knocked around. It comes with a useful though also lightly built carrying case. It produces both convection and radiant heat and the output appears to be comparable to an electric heater of about 1000 watts. I was impressed with the way it heated a small space such as a travel trailer. Without a fan, it does not distribute the heat very well and mainly heats the area immediately around it. Outdoors, only the radiant output would be useful and you would have to sit directly in front of it. These units produce small amounts of carbon monoxide so you need to have some ventilation and a carbon monoxide alarm would be very desirable for indoor use. I think an alarm would be mandatory if you were going to sleep with it running. The unit I received had instructions only in Korean. Most of it is easy to figure out from the pictures but one important thing is not obvious and really needs a note in other languages. There is a push button on the regulator accessible though a hole in the top of the unit which must be depressed when inserting and removing a gas cartridge. If you look into the large hole where the cartridge goes, it says "PUSH" on it. You pop the plastic cover off the cartridge and then insert the cartridge into the unit. Look through the small hole in the top and rotate the cartridge so that the tab on the regulator lines up with a slot on the top of the cartridge. Put your thumb into the hole and press the button while pushing the cartridge firmly into the regulator. It does not actually lock in place but is held pretty securely by a strong magnet and friction on the feed tube which is released by the push button. There appears to be an interlock which shuts off the unit if the cartridge is not securely in place. Attempting to insert a cartridge without pushing the button could damage something.Turn the output control all the way up until it clicks to activate the piezo igniter. If it doesn't light on the first try, back off the knob a bit and turn it all the way back up to activate the igniter again.

Nice little heater with a few issues that are easily overcome (Translated Instuctions Included!)
This is a great little heater...but has some issues that can easily be overcome. I bought this stove after seeing it on The Outdoor Gear Review channel and thought that since I've got a butane stove, having a heater that took the same fuel would be a good thing to have. When I first got the stove, as others have noted, I saw that the manual was totally in Korean, no English. Google translate on the phone helped. NOTE: I scanned the manual and fed it to Google Translate, so my review photos (4 total) are of the translated manual.Second, as others note, it uses a magnet to retain the butane canister which had come loose in shipping. APPARENTLY, there is an older model where the butane can was retained by a twist mechanism...seems like newer models have the magnet. Getting that magnet fished out and back in the retaining ring took a minute or two with hemostats, but wasn't too hard.Past that, it's a great little stove, ignites instantly, and throws a good bit of heat. In a nice feature, it has a little plate that warms the butane canister with a plate, so heat output stays even right up until the can runs out of fuel.A really nice made stove once the magnet is properly back in place. With it back in place, this

VERY DANGEROUS!!!
Like others have said, had difficulty getting the canister to lock in place. I did get it to work, and when it ran out of fuel, I changed the canister, but forgot to turn it to the off position. Gas sprayed everywhere. I removed the new canister, turned it to off and put the canister back in. I very incorrectly assumed that enough time had elapsed from when it sprayed fuel. As soon as I turned it on, a huge fireball erupted in my face. Hopefully my eye brows grow back. On the plus side, the tent was instantly warm. Next it took it outside, gave it a few minutes to air out, and lit it with no issues. I brought it back in the tent, but within a few minutes I noticed liquid fuel was dripping on the burner and causing it to flare up! I turned it off and will never use it again!!!I liked the idea of this heater because it was smaller than a Mr. Heater Buddy Heater. I wanted to use it in four man tent that the Buddy Heater will cook me out of quickly. I will stick with the Buddy heater, and just open the windows more. The Buddy heater is MUCH safer. When empty, it shuts off the gas valve regardless of the position of the switch. It has tip over protection, and low oxygen shut off. NEVER sleep in a tent with a gas heater running.

Amazing little heater
Exceeds expectations. Possibly a little pricey, or fairly priced, I am happy with the purchase. Used in the minivan to keep things warm when camping in the colder months. That little thing will warm up the entire minivan on the low setting. Make sure to keep two windows cracked open for ventilation and safety if you too plan on using it in your vehicle. It will still warm up the interior, no problem. This thing is well designed. Back, sides and bottom remain cool to the touch when in use. The very top where the vent holes are located does get hot, as well as the front of course. There is a sturdy handle and a sturdy pull out “leg/stand”. Control on the side, all works perfectly. Plastic storage box is not the best but works and I always store the heater (when cooled) in the box to protect it from dust buildup. Instructions are in Korean. If unfamiliar with these sort of products, there are many instructional videos on YouTube. Bottom line, this little heater keeps things comfortable, I highly recommend for smaller spaces (probably not for a large Sprinter van).

It heats
Nice heater. However they changed the design and put a magnet in to hold the gas bottle in place. You no longer push and twist it. The magnet works fine but I had to send back the first one. The magnet had come out and chipped. The second one the magnet had also come out but was in tact. I was able to get the magnet back in the correct location. If you have big hands you wouldn’t be able to do that.
