Well you need patience, duh!
Updated:I increased my score because of the large patch that was released a few weeks ago. I now have the ability to play the computer as Jason, I said below that this was needed for people to practice as Jason and to load up on points. I am pretty pleased with this, it will never replace the multiplayer with challenge but it is still fun. I also received Virtual Cabin 2.0 which I am happy with. There are new kills and level up option, and one new counselor. I am still waiting for new maps and the new Jasons, which I am hoping to get a Jason X, I think it would be in February. I you want to buy this game just know that there is still DLC and patches coming in a month, it might change your view if you wait for them. Anyways love the game!_______________________________________________________________________Old Review:Good game but as a gamer you need a lot of patience! I give it a 31/2 out of 5. There are various problems with this game most of them have nothing to do with game play. One of those problems is that about one in five games end because the host leaves or the Jason skips because he sucks. Although I don't mind the latter because you get points the interruptions are annoying and many times you end up at square one and you have to wait all over again. Another big problem is that all you experience is obtained by playing with other players pretty much from the gecko you are thrown into you Jason role with no clue what you are doing, this could be very embarrassing when people have mics cursing you out because you suck. And if you don't play you don't get practice, this should have been resolved with a practice maps from the moment you start this game. Jason is pretty daunting to play, I played him about eight time thus far and I still have a hard time. I would prefer to practice on my own time. I know that they are trying to keep to the movies and all but I think that you could put Jason any where the camp grounds maps get boring and everything looks the same. I think we need more variety with environment, maybe we could have the space ship from Jason X.Despite my few gripes this game is still very fun and addictive, and there is a lot of creativity and potential to this game. The Jason's are phenomenal, the superpowers that Jason has make him almost god like and super creepy. I hope they make this game for VR, I think it will be even more insane when Jason shifts up to me out of no where and breaths down my neck, or when I experience a first person Jason kill. For now I will wait for all the new stuff coming out soon, I am pretty confident that some of my issues will be solved in new patches and DLC.

Fantastic Friday Frenzy
I have to say, I was really on the fence about this game before buying it. From all the footage I had seen, I was so excited and thought it was a really great, simple concept. However, there was a lot of negative buzz about bugs and glitches. I had this in my cart for a long time because I didn't want to spend the money, but at one point I decided to give it a shot.Friday the 13th: The Game is incredibly fun and pretty terrifying. This game takes you in control of either a counselor running and fighting for your life or a blood-thirsty Jason. A lot of people had said that they thought the game was really one-sided, but I think it has since balanced well. Jason is really good, but he is beatable if you work as a team and try to escape before (a) everyone else is dead or (b) he gets his rage ability. The game itself is really simple: online 20-minute matches of 7 counselors and 1 Jason. There are a bunch of maps and things change up each time. Many weapons and items and a few different escape methods. It sounds like it would get boring, but surprisingly it doesn't. Enough seems to change every match that it seems fresh. Despite always looting for needed items, there's always suspense and I can honestly say I've never been bored. This game is a full release, but it is still being updated. There definitely are some bugs with Jason being able to grab you from a short distance and characters moving through doors, but overall it's pretty stable. The online connectivity can be a pain because it relies on a host to 'own' a session - if they leave for whatever reason, it closes. I wouldn't recommend this is you don't have or intend to pick-up PSplus because the offline content isn't really enough yet (I think there is more to come still).Overall, this is a great game and I love to play it. For a long time, I was ignoring my other games to play Overwatch; this game managed to pull me out of that and simultaneously start a new addiction. I think the most impressive thing about this game is that it was started/funded through Kickstarter. The makers are true fans of the series and they designed the game to give the fans what they wanted.
