Good product great customer service
I ordered this for my 3.0 MerCruiser in a late '80s Chris Craft Run about. I was actually impressed with the quality of the carburetor and compared it to a genuine mercarb and could not find very many obvious differences. After installing taking the boat out a few times it developed a problem where the needle and seat would stick at times causing the engine to stall. Whack the carburetor on the side with a small hammer it would free up the needle and seat absolutely Flawless until it happened again. What happened about 6 to 8 times every time we took the boat out. more annoying than anything. I removed the carb and disassembled and checked and set they float height and look for any other obvious problems. Reassemble and reinstall and it improved the problem but it would still happen from time to time. I contacted Thundermingo with my problem and they got right back to me asking if I needed any parts. I again inspected the carburetor and could not find anything that I could blame the problem on. After telling them this they immediately sent me out a replacement carburetor. I can't ask for better customer service than that and I'm very happy with the end result. I installed the replacement problem solved

Great purchase
After working on and repairing my old carburetor this was the perfect remedy.I Connected it and as soon as there was gas in the lines my boat fired right up. The only adjustment was to the idle screw on the throttle body but that was easy enough.

i changed the linkage with the provided long for my boat , adjust the mix and start right away
Good quality carburetor, works really good on my mercruiser 3.0 with minimal tuning. not a Chinese low quality, this is a real deal. People to have bad reviews need to know how to work with a carburetor, this is not a smart phone or a tablet and a customer service can't give you mechanical advice or instructions to tune a carburetor, get a professional mechanic and don't blame the new carburetor.

its not fit the 5.0 engine.
I bought for 5.0 engine and its not fit. they are some difference.

It would cost 9 times this to have a marine mechanic rebuild
I did have to adjust the choke and dial it in as expected but a great value and runs smooth and is very responsive.
