Q: Will this move chain it wants to hit my frame

hi this item is compatible with normal mag wheel(mag wheel which is designed mainly for gas motorized bicycle is not compatible with it),and yes this item gets function that make chain compatible with mag wheel or exactly move chain away from frame!

Q: Im guessing i can buy a 48 tooth sprocket and cut out the center and this should work any body done this.

If you can line up all the holes that you are drilling to connect the sprocket to the adapter it should work fine. Not sure if any one else has done this already so you may be the first to actually test it.

Q: Does this not allow the use of disc brakes?

This allows you to use disc brakes! Longer bolts are proveded to mount rotor
