This is a really nice little iron. It's perfect for what i am using it for, which is gluing wood edging on shelving. It's small, heats up in 15 seconds, and is the perfect size for ironing on the edging by heating up the hot-melt glue on the back side of the edging. I ordered black but they shipped me a purple or lavender one. That's cool, it just works like it's supposed to! This was one of those 'Way better quality and value than you were hoping for'. It would work well for the purpose it was intended, ironing clothes, but it doesn't have steam, it's just an iron.

This little iron is definitely a no-frills tool as it does not have the steam function but it gets quite hot, is light weight, fits nicely in my hand and I use it on a mini ironing board beside my sewing machine. It gets the job done.

IMO the iron is too lightweight. In spite of this, it is useful for ironing small quilt pieces while sitting at the sewing machine.The dial for the settings can be a bit confusing also.
