I’ll preface this by saying I’m only reviewing the build quality and looks. There will be none of that cable mumbo jumbo. If you disagree, then study physics and then we’ll talk.PROS:Seems well made, no loose joints or crackles.Good weave (8/10).Connectors snug, but not too tight, feel very similar to originals.All metal components (jack, splitter and connectors).Looks fine.Coils really nicely for storage but doesn’t tangle.Nicer connectors than listing shows.Quiet cable/no microphonics.Can be converted to balanced pretty easily (basic soldering skills and a jack that costs a fiver) and much cheaper than ordering a balanced one.Not braided.CONS:Connectors not same as listing picture (see my photo). Personally I prefer what I received, but listing should reflect this.The metal of the components doesn’t match.They’re very similar, however the jack, splitter and connectors are slightly different shades of silver.Not braided.I’m being picky with the cons but that’s what you want ;) braided is in both groups as that’s a personal choice.Correction, the cable microphonics are quite loud if you’re moving, particularly if the cable is rubbing against itself. I listen whilst sitting still, so it’s not an issue at all.
