These are beautiful grips and fit perfectly on my new Taurus model 66. It has transformed my pistol into a very nice looking firearm. I am more than pleased with these! Thank you very much BMPL!

Very nice grips.....worked perfectly for my 357 taurus 66.

Fit to my M44 was good, but not perfect. There is a small gap at the top and bottom. They feel much better than the stock grips and make the gun look much better. Anything that is hand made usually can't be expected to be perfect every time.

I saw a couple reviews on here before I bought that showed photos of the grips not closing tightly around the frame. (1) you need to line up the holes and apply some really firm pressure to get the grips to sear properly. This is a good thing. They’re made to fit tightly. (2) to get the to close properly you may need to do use a file to remove a tiny bit of wood on the inside of one grip or both to get them perfect. This too some patience filing and refitting about four times before they were good to go. For me this took about 30 minutes. I’m sure my dad would be done it faster and better. Put some painter tape (or other easy to remove tape) on the front side of the grips before you use a file, so you don’t slip and scratch the front of the grip while you’re working.

I love the way these feel and I love the way they look however, the screw that holds them together is directly in line with the hammer spur. Cannot cock the hammer. No matter how lovely they are this problem makes them worthless on the M44.

Very happy with them

Never got them to close the gap. The one side fit good but I had to pound the other side into submission with my fist. Might grind them down with my drimmal tool.
