Easy to setup, works well, very few flaws
I waited until I had this desk for almost a year so that I could give a review that was a little more thought of after using it.Pros:- Easy setup -> Early reviews when I purchased this said that it could be a pain to set up. I found that the instructions were actually very easy to read. It took around 30-45 mins total to set up. I did have someone help me to flip the desk, but that was only for my own peace of mind since I didn't want to damage my brand new desk.- Sturdy packaging -> It was packaged well. It was packaged sturdy enough that even with my package being slightly dinged up the desk itself was still in perfect condition. The foam and the box were both broken, but the desk didn't even have a single scratch on it.- One touch controls -> I've used multiple standing desks for work in different locations. I always had a problem with controls that would allow you to set a memory position, but then you'd still have to press and hold the button to get to that position. That is not a problem with this desk. I ended up setting three of the positions for myself, and one for my spouse who is a totally different height. I'm able to press one button and the desk automatically adjusts right to where I set it.- Surface -> I purchased my desk with the two tone top. While some have said they didn't like that it was in multiple pieces I really like it. The pieces are held together both by the legs and by a series of brackets. Overall it stays together, and even with my skepticism of how well it would stay together I have not had to tighten the bolts since purchasing it.- Desk Grommets -> The included desk grommets are a nice touch. In a very smart move the grommets were both placed on the center portion of the surface (one toward each end). I try to maintain a desk that is as cable free as possible, but there are some accessories that just have to have cables (looking at you wired speakers). The grommets are in just the right places, and they have options to have the holes fully closed, partly open, or fully open by removing a cover.Cons:- Stability -> In its lowest position the desk has very minimal movement. When it is raised to full height though it moves a lot! The balance just seems like it is off as the desk gets taller. Going back to my point of using other desks before, while not the least stable desk that I've used this one still could have some improvement made on how much it moves at full extension.- Motors -> The motor on this one claims to be quiet, but it makes quite a bit of noise. With being single motor it has to try to move both legs and keep them in sync. The bar that it uses came loose during a move across the room while reorganizing the room, and it has never been quiet again since then even after tightening it.- Cable management -> I know there is a "cable management tray" included, but it's almost worthless. The tray would be fine if you are only using it strictly for cables, but if any of your devices have a brick/box of any kind then good luck. The tray is small enough that after putting a surge protector/power strip in there was no space for anything that had any kind of "bulky" connector. I ended up buying a different cable management system that worked much better.Overall:If you are looking for a quick, cheap, easy to use standing desk then I would definitely recommend this one. Are there better options? Yes, however the "better" options cost a lot more. For a budget friendly desk this is all I could ask for.

DON'T BUY.. ADJUSTING SWITCH NO LONGER WORKS AFTER 6 MONTHS
This desk was fine for awhile for how cheap it was comparable to other adjustable desks on the market. You get what you pay for I guess. I did not expect that $200 I spent to only be an investment for 6 months... Not that it's stuck in my sitting position, I now know with how little support and how short the warrant was for this deep of an investment, I will NO LONGER be buying furniture from Amazon. I cancelled my Prime not too long ago with no regrets because as good as it was for awhile- I was making unnecessary purchases to buy things I don't need for free shipping... almost $20/month and only a 3 month warranty is crazy. I've troubleshooted this desk but unplugging/plugging everything I could find to clean/reset...but nothing. A waste of my time and money.

So far, so good. 4.5 stars
I've been using this desk for a few days now. It seems quite sturdy. It says it will hold up to 176 pounds, and I don't have near that weight on it, so I can't speak to it's function if it's got heavier items on it. Right now I have a 27 inch monitor, laptop and stand, and papers on it. It's very smooth moving up and down, and none of my electronics wobble. My husband put the desk together in less than an hour. It was well packaged and everything was labeled. My only complaint (and why I gave it 4 stars) is one I didn't expect from the materials... it leaves fingerprints when someone touches it. This is a very minor thing and it wouldn't stop me from recommending it. It's just kind of annoying. It's not metal or shiny, and I wash my hands quite often, so I'm not sure how it's got visible smudges when someone touches it . Being able to save settings is a nice touch. The desk is simple and attractive. It doesn't look cheap. It's got plenty of usable space. It doesn't have drawers (which is fine; this wasn't a requirement for me), but if you're looking for extra space to store items, I turned an Ikea bookshelf I already had on it's side and it works really well. Overall, it seems like a very good value for what I paid. Hopefully, it holds up for several years. I will update this review if anything breaks or whatnot.
