The SONOS ONE/PLAY:1 WALL MOUNT is not suitable for celling,the best place for it is mounted on the vertical wall

Since you’d have to use the clip to tighten and hold the speaker on pace depend on the model. It would only take a couple minutes to remove and un-screw to release the clip on the speaker.
