2023 F-150 Powerboost -- It Works!
I purchased this to use with my 23 F150 Powerboost and I was able to program it myself and it works with full functionality. It looks exactly the same at the stock Key Fob and it has all of the same buttons. I had two already functioning key fobs (this was the third), so I was able to program it at home using the "backup slot" under the rubber base in one of the front cup holders. There is a great "how to" video from @programyourremote.com on YouTube that covers DIY programming for 2018-2024 Ford F-150.To program:1. Place one of your 2 already functioning fobs in the backup slot and press the start/stop button (without your foot on the brake).2. Once the vehicle stops dinging, push the start/stop button again and remove the first fob.3. Place the second already functioning fob in the backup slot and press the start/ stop button (without your foot on the brake).4. Once the vehicle stops dinging, push the start/stop button again and remove the second fob.5. Place the newly-purchased and unprogrammed fob in the backup slot and press the start/stop button (without your foot on the brake). The vehicle programmed the fob and I heard the doors lock and unlock in the process.6. Press the start/stop button and remove the newly-purchased and programmed fob from the backup slot.It took me a couple of tries before it worked. I think the failed attempts had to do with fob orientation. When programming was successful, all three fobs were placed into the backup slot in exactly the same way:1. Right-side up (removable key on top)2. push buttons facing forward (toward the front of the vehicle).

No battery, no electronics
This arrived as just a shell. No battery and no electronics, but the listing clearly stated those are supposed to be included. Returning for a refund.

Defective Key
I attempted to program my truck to this key probably over a dozen times, following the instructions exactly and timings precisely without any luck. The truck kept displaying a "Key Programming Failed" message. So I took it to my dealer for them to program. They were also unable to program the key, even with the service computer. The dealer stated that my key is defective. I requested a return and refund.

Great so far. Go to the dealership tho!
As many other truck owners, I was skeptical about the wireless fobs working properly with our truck. But, I decided that the price was worth the risk. I priced the replacement key at the Ford dealership and it was over $300 plus programming. So I decided to give this one a shot. There are some instructions on how to do it on the packaging, but I wanted the sure thing, so I went to the dealership shop. The guys plugged in the computer and synced the key in like 15 mins. So far all the buttons function properly and starts my truck properly.I'll exclusively use this key for the next few months and will update my review if any issues arise.I own an F150 2020 Platinum trim. Save yourself some time, the slot to program the key is under the front cupholder, just remove the cover.
