Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara, Blackest Black, 0.28 Fluid Ounce

I love this mascara. It makes my lashes look very full wirhout being clumpy, doesn't flake, and washes off easily with just warm water. I can't believe how inexpensive it is.

Mascara is drying out very quickly...why? Can't use after 1 week!!Hope this one will work out well and stay moist for longer time.Thank you..

I’m a HUGE fan of Trish McEvoy’s “tubular” mascara, though not as big of fan of its price tag. I’ve tried numerous other “tubes,” and nothing even comes close to her product... until this came along. Long lashes, no flaking, no clumping, good volume, and a fabulous DARK black sheen are all positives as to why you should stock up on this product. For the price, it’s awesome. It does not remove as easily as the McEvoy tubes do, but no tugging or pulling of your eyelids are required. I’ve not used traditional makeup remover with these tubes, but with a little elbow grease, they come off with the IT Cosmetics all-in-one cleanser in the tub (the one that looks like lard and melts off your makeup, while magically working wonders on your skin) mixed with a bit of warm water and a washcloth. All mascara products have their uses, and for an everyday go-to product, this will be a part of my collection, to be used day in and day out. Don’t be afraid to invest the $10... you will be pleased.

This mascara has a very wet formula and I’ve had difficulty with it smudging when I’m trying to apply it. If I accidentally blink it transfers in globs to my upper lid and under eye area. I’ve never had this problem before. It claims to be a tubing mascara but I just don’t see it. It comes off easy but really no better than any other mascara I’ve tried. My eyes burned and turned bloodshot so I had to remove it. It did look nice, kinda separated and fluttery. Plus it gave nice length. I’m going to try it again and see if I get the same smudging and burning eyes. I tried the brown black shade and it was very pretty and natural looking. Not as harsh as other mascaras I’ve tried. It was just disappointing. I’ll update if my opinion changes with further use. Update: I wore this mascara today and It worked better today. No burning or irritation.. I had to be very careful when applying to avoid smudging. It stayed very flexible on the lashes and didn’t get hard and stiff the way other mascaras tend to do. It was a bit harder to remove than my usual mascaras so I d not think it’s a tubing mascara. It’s just ok and I’m not going to order it again.

This is a game changer for me!Any other regular mascara, other than the Trish McEvoy tubing mascara leaves me with raccoon eyes. Any other one! It doesn’t matter if it’s waterproof or not. They’re never smudge proof. THIS ONE IS!!!!! It is a tubing mascara, which means it’s so much easier to clean off- I really can just use warm water if I want, but I usually like using my Glossier Cleansing Milk Oil to take off all of my eye makeup and brow stuff. But again, it removes so easily.The look on my lashes is fabulous, even more amazing when I use my lash primer. Talk about WOW!As I mentioned before, I love my Trish McEvoy, but it’s a bit more expensive, so for the price, I’ll stick with this one!! Same effect and a fraction of the price!!

Update 3/08/20: Goodbye tubing effect!The formula has been changed, and now it’s just a regular mascara. No more tubing effect at all! I was hoping maybe I had just gotten one from a bad batch, but I’ve tried buying it 3 different times now, from 3 different places (one was Amazon), and they were all the same. Mega Multiplier is NOT a tubing mascara anymore, which is so disappointing. It’s not horrible as far as mascaras go, in fact it looked nice after I applied it, so I didn’t realize anything had changed. But after a few hours at work, I had grey shadows under my eyes from the product blending into my concealer. Avoiding that was one of the main benefits of having a tubing formula in the first place! So, that’s gone. At the end of the day, whatever mascara was still left of my lashes washed off easily, like regular, non-waterproof mascara. Now I’m back on the hunt for another tubing mascara that won’t cost a fortune. Why, Revlon? WHY?!Original review:I know that big cosmetic companies like Revlon like to roll out new products all the time and discontinue others, but this mascara is one of my must-haves. There used to be a more expensive brand that made excellent tubing mascara that I used for years, but they’ve discontinued it. When I found this one, I felt like I’d found the holy grail again. My eyes are somewhat small, and any mascara I wear — even waterproof — ends up as raccoon eyes halfway through the day. The only kind of mascara that doesn’t do that is a tubing kind. This stuff is terrific. It doesn’t come off anywhere until I want it to, and then all I need to do is apply a little warm water with a few seconds to soak (I cup my hands over closed eyes with warm water in my palms), and it slips right off. No makeup remover, rubbing or tugging necessary. I don’t notice any special curling or extreme lengthening effect from this mascara, but it does a nice job emphasizing your lashes and adding some fullness, length, and drama to them, without the raccoon-eyes side effect.

This mascara is so good, I’m looking to buy more Revlon soon. Don’t know why I haven’t purchased from them in a while, I think I just forgot about them. There are so many cosmetic companies now that I’m inundated with ads. Anyway this looks great on my lashes. I have green eyes and it compliments my eye color. I love the formula too.
