Kiara Sky Beyond Pro Drill (PURPLE)

My first using it this past weekend. I love it. Very quiet. Easy to maneuver. It's light weight. It's a beautiful color and the battery charged quickly. You get the bang for your buck with this one.

This drill looks beautiful however it is absolute junk. I have had the Young Nails drill for about 4 years now and the hand piece finally stopped working. I had done research in the past and kiara sky was always my second drill choice. I got the drill, turned it on and instantly noticed a clanking sounds in the drill. It sounded like something was stuck. It kind of went away, I used the drill to remove a set. It really wasn't preforming like i had imagined it would and definitely not anywhere near my Young nails drill. I finally opened the hand piece and a very small very thin piece of copper metal that was broken in pieces fell out! It also does not have the power i am used to. I am having to use twice the RPMS that I normally would and even then, it seems like the bit wants to stop when using it. I am so behind upset that I spent SO much money on this drill. Do not waste your money!

This drill does the job and is very quiet

To say I was disappointed with this efile would be an understatement. Day one I removed it from its packaging, turn it on and the motor klinks as if there was something in it, the noise soon disappeared though and I chalked it up to first time use perhaps.My first full client day of using this efile really showed it's flaws and low quality of the efile itself.That being said the outer appearance, weight/vibration of hand piece, the materials it's made of, all of that is top notch, beautiful, definitely impressed, but the issues come with the actual functioning of the efile.I begin my day of work and immediately notice that I'm having to run the efile at double the the normal rpm to accomplish the same thing my YN efile previously could do. Fine, OK I guess battery powered machines do have less torque. So I don't worry too much, figure I'll adjust. Then I notice the efile skipping, almost as if it's losing power, I can hear the motor winding up and down, and I start noticing a vibration or clink type thing in the chuck. I knew at that point this efile was absolutely not functioning properly.So I File for a warranty repair. Luckily since it was not 30 days old I would be getting a brand new one. Great, OK. Then I find out, I have to send them my efile before I'll get a replacement. That's not normal. Usually a replacement is sent and when received the broken one is returned. So I was immediately unhappy with their unprofessional customer service. I return the efile. It takes over two weeks for me to get a replacement, and in the meantime I had to purchase another efile to fill in for this one that doesn't work.I finally received the efile a couple days ago. I turn it on and no immediate noise, but same exact issues. I can not believe this is being marketed as a professional efile, because it absolutely is not! This is a $80 DIY at home efile at a $350 professional price. Unbelievable!So now that the replacement efile is garbage I'm torn on whether to do another warranty replacement or just return and be refunded.I'm so disappointed because other products from Kiara Sky are wonderful, but this efile is absolute overpriced trash!If you are a professional, I beg you to please not waste your money on this efile!Update: I've filed a second warranty claim and am now waiting for a second replacement. I'm unbelievably disappointed in this efile. Almost 2 decades in the industry using every efile from no name junks to medicool to melodysusie to kupa to young nails and almost anything in between, I've never, never experienced this type of issue. Of course will be updating when this next replacement arrives. Fingers crossed the 3rd efile will be the functioning one 🤞The 3rd is not, and even a fourth wouldn't be because this is a poorly made efile. I've had the opportunity to try other fellow nail tecs Kiara sky efiles and all have this same problem. At this point I can only assume anyone who's given this efile a positive review is either a paid schill or a novice nail tec who doesn't understand the functioning of efiles. I'll still give this product 2 stars as it is usable, but for the price paid it should run smooth and powerful, but it doesn't it skips, revs, and is weak.Kiara Sky, do better!
