Gaming Laptop of All Gaming Laptops!!!!
Had this over a year now! and I run EVERY game with ease. works great with my Alienware Monitor and LG Monitors. It is Heavy but because of the Graphics card and i9- chip. absolutely replaces my desktop and I use it for everything.

Good performance but serious flaws and reliability issues
FINAL FINAL UPDATE: Now te keyboard broke. One of te keys broke. Guess wic one? Dell as really destroyed tis company...FINAL UPDATE: The laptop has now started spontaneously hard shutting down during gaming. This is my first PC after being a Mac person my whole life, and this quality is dismal and hugely disappointing. I've never had so many problems with a computer. I'm pretty sure it's Alienware, not PC's in general, as my father has a Razor laptop that is absolutely rock solid and quiet.UPDATE: Downgrading my review by one star; the fan needs replacement on my laptop and dealing with Dell and their contracted technicians has been a disaster. They set up an appointment for me and I stayed home all day waiting for them, losing a day a work, only to have them no show. It's amazing how different dealing with Dell and Apple is, both in service and quality of product. From a pure spec/preformance standpoint this is a very good laptop. However, there's no such thing as a free lunch; they got these specs at this price point by cutting quite a few corners.First, the screen is terrible. It's the dimmest screen on any laptop I've ever owned. It's also got lousy field of view.Second, the thermal handling is abysmal. If you do anything more demanding than writing an e-mail the laptop sounds like a A380 trying to take off above gross weight. Even my kids complain about the noise.Third, the materials are cheap. Everything is plastic, even the touchpad. The laptop feels flimsy, especially the screen.Lastly, the Alienware software is unreliable. This is more of an issue with Dell destroying the Alienware franchise, but the included software to control the lighting and thermal settings is barely usable, and needs to be restarted on a regular basis.Overall, is it a good laptop? Yeah, I'm glad I got it. But it's not nearly the value people think it is relative to something like a Razor. By father got the latter, and I wish I did. For a bit more money, the Razor will have similar performance but will be quiet and give you a phenomenal OLED screen.

excellent laptop with one major flaw.
The laptop is incredibly powerful, and an excellent buy. the problem, however, is that if it enters high performance mode without a 100% full battery the laptop will instantly shut off and stop charging the battery until you’ve fully drained it. on multiple occasions the charger has slipped out without my notice and the second I start a more taxing game like Cyberpunk 2077 or Ready or Not, the laptop immediately shuts off and my gaming session is just over for the 2+ hours it takes to drain the battery without being able to start a game.

Best gaming laptop I’ve ever had
Worked right out of the box the Alienware command center made it easy to control my performance without ever having to go into the bios. The build quality is phenomenal the screen with 240hz and qhd is a beast colors are accurate and motion is smooth as butter. The fans do get VERY loud but truthfully with my headphones on I can’t hear it at all and the reason I gave the battery 5 stars is its a powerhouse of a gaming pc of course the battery is gonna drain fast. But that 240 watt power supply will have it charged pretty fast and gives your system more than enough power to run your system efficiently. If it continues to run as well as it is right now I might be getting a Alienware desktop soon.

100% worth it
Just purchased this laptop 2 weeks ago for gaming and also working remotely on. 10/10 for gaming I’m getting 170 FPS on the new MW2 rn running it on 1440p. Working remotely on it is nuts I never imagined things loading so quick haha I’ll prob make all my money back on this because of how efficient I am now. Idk why people say overheating is an issue I haven’t come close to that yet even after 7 hour gaming seshes. 10/10 laptop I highly recommend if you are looking to get into 1440p and still play on high frames and have something portable

Quite simply, the worst customer service and a total "brick" of a laptop
These are some serious claims so let's quickly run through them.Nothing works. Which could be fine, if customer service actually did something about the many problems. However, my experience to date consists of customer service closing my service tickets as "complete" as soon as they have sent a generic, initial email reply. You know the type of email: have you run the battery tests, have you reinstalled graphics drivers, etc. Generic info that is far exceeded by the useful information you can find on any support site. When you get them to reopen the "completed" repair request they will send you another generic email, containing much the same information, plus a few hilarious suggestions that are clearly cut and paste, full of typos, containing illogical suggestions.Ok, so you put this down to a few support staff who don't particularly care about their job. But the thing is, this has been going on for weeks and weeks. Any emails I do receive contain incredibly outdated information that is obviously from Windows 7 or a pre-historic BIOS menu screen. So, all in all, this could be a good machine if it wasn't a brick. But even when the problems are finally resolved, you are left with the sense that customer service would rather be watching social media than actually caring about their customer problems. Add to this the fact that my problems (i.e. the laptop is a brick) are echoed by dozens of other users on the Dell support forums, and it makes me regret ever buying a Dell laptop. To be clear, I am not looking for a refund. I am not trying to get an apology. I will get this laptop fixed (eventually). I just wish I never heard of the word Dell. Well done, support staff, you have nullified decades of goodwill, advertising and word of mouth.
