Q: Is there a way to elevate the bed off the floor? I’d like to buy something to put under so that the frame and mattress are both elevated. Ideas?

There is no particular way to raise the bed and the mattress. And if you do build your own box, you need to find away to attach to the car part of the bed, as it is plastic and it would hold on its own. That being said, you will not need to raise the bed once you see and test it out, I say this a buyer who had your exact same instinct at first :) We went through several beds, before finally deciding on this one. It’s a great item and kids loooove it. The height is perfect for kids, esp if you’re into Montessori style. We purchased several beds and kiddo had us return them all, but this one. Your kid will love it.
