The product came packed securely in an Amazon box. There was bubble filler to prevent shifting. I opened the box and took out the product box for the PRO-CATCHER Large Rat Snap Traps.The box was sealed well, but I noticed a lot of rattling inside the box. I’ll explain what that was in a moment.I used a box cutter to gently slice the plastic seal tab. On top, was a very nice “thank you” note from the seller, offering personal contact information, including an email and telephone number for any questions or problems.I soon realized that the rattling was happening because, without any type of filler, the traps were loose and jostling, allowing some of the bait caps to become loose inside the box. But there was no problem otherwise. All eight traps were included and had the right number of matching and fitting bait caps. The caps lock into place as described.I didn’t see any instructions inserted into the box, so I looked at the box’s exterior. There are instructions on the box, but they are difficult to see because there is an internal informational sticker label (with my name/address QR codes) covering it, and I don’t think I could get it all off with a clean peel. While I just went to the website and watched a quick video, I imagine the seller might like to know and ask that shippers place the label over another spot that doesn’t have instructional information, if possible.But I’ve already loaded one trap with a nice, aged cheddar and set it out. Something triggered it and set it off, but nothing was in the trap. I’m definitely going to load up several and put them out, and I’m confident the traps will work. I look forward to taking care of this pest problem!I’ll update with any results, but for sheer product quality and easy, loading, cleaning, and re-setting functionality, I would recommend this rat trap set to anyone battling rats, especially as the weather gets chilly, and they’re looking for some cozy indoor spaces.

Very easy to use, effective, and will solve your rat problem immediately. I placed the order and received it the next day. It was fast shipping with no delays and issues. There was no damage and the packaging was perfect. I got them in the box ( I got 8 of them for the price I paid. It was well worth it). Directions were easy to understand.I was trying multiple methods on trapping rats such as glue traps, traditional traps, bait. None worked as effectively as this trap. The first time I used them I caught 2 large rats. I have used traditional spring traps for decades. Often, I would find the bait was eaten but the trap had not been sprung. Setting the bait was always a little nerve racking as great care had to be taken not to get my own fingers snared in the trap. This product has been flawless and safe. Just set up bait in the bait cup and press the snap spring to complete the setting. The trap can be set with one hand and presents zero threat to your fingers (unlike the traditional traps). It's easy to clean and reload. They work better than the wooden snap traps. They seem to have a stronger spring and powerful jaws, which in turn causes the trap to "hit" harder. Releasing captured prey is a snap and mess free. Highly recommend it! Make sure to add a good source of bait on the trap and set it in the area you see the pest coming through.I am a very satisfied customer and if having another rodent problem I definitely know what to purchase.
