Pretty good aerial for the money (70 Element kit)
Although I live under 1/2 a mile from our local transmitter, it's also a Freeview lite transmitter so only carries 20 channels. With that in mind any aerial would pick up reception here but what I really wanted was to pick up signal from a full Freeview transmitter. Not being that great with heights I opted to install it in the loft and angled it roughly to one of the full Freeview transmitters in our area (approx 30 miles away), which to my surprise it worked perfectly fine even without being precisely angled. I put a TV in the loft on an extension lead and set it to show the signal strength and error rate to finely adjust the angle of the aerial, after some trial and error it now picks up 100% signal quality and around 90% signal strength on most channels. Every channel on the transmitter it is pointing at is available to watch and has a perfect picture/sound.Build quality seems fine, especially for loft mounting. Everything locks together easily and it is fairly easy to assemble. With the kit you also get a fairly short wall mount mast (which I installed upside down on one of the rafters), the required connectors for a single aerial point (wire sticking out the wall, I'd recommend fitting a faceplate) and 10 meters of what feels like pretty good quality coax (the cable is much thicker and stiffer than some of the cheap coax I've seen before). Conclusion: It's a well priced 70 element aerial that works very well and is simple to set up with a little patience (a compass would remove the requirement for patience).

Best aerial ever.
Delivered before due date. Easy to assemble. Bigger than expected but not a problem.Ordered due to signal failure on very old aerial. broken sound, blocky picture, black screen, signal lost notifications. Most channels registered a signal of 30 - 40% and quality from 0 - 35in the end all had dropped severely to get the above outcome.Worst signal 15% 0 Qualoty Replaced the aerial in the loft with this one in about 15 mins, just pointed it in same directionas last aerial. Turn on and retune tv to new aerial,Outcome 90 - 95% Signal 100% Quality on ALL channels.Best Aerial ever, would highly recomend, would definitely buy again, 5 Stars all round.

Excellent aerial
My old high gain television aerial had been damaged by overweight pigeons, (the horizontal bars had been snapped off as were fixed with plastic fittings.) This aerial is much more compact and sturdy. Folds into position, all you have to do is fit a few wing bolts. Dead simple. The F type fitting fitted my existing cable perfectly, but make sure you put the plastic waterproof cone on the cable before cutting the cable to fit the connector or you will not get it on, it is a very snug fit. Easy to fit to pole, lined up aerial direction by compass bearing to transmitter 25 miles away. re-tuned TV and got excellent reception.

Be very careful.
I bought this Ariel believing it to be duel use. I found out to my misfortune that it is for horizontal polarisation only. By that time I had destroyed the box it came in and so I could not return it. The area where I live it is verticallyPolarisation Ariels Horizontal is not a damn bit of good. Why can't the manufacturer do customers a good turn and make it known on their website that it is a horizontally polarised Ariel only. Now I'm £40.68 out of pocket. All because of the couldn't care less attitude/ or failure of the manufacturer to print it..

Fit for Purpose
Looked at a number of different options before selecting this product. Arrived as described although much bigger than I had anticipated. That said manged to assemble without any difficulty despite instructions not being the best. Big improvement on the old aerial which was in our loft. Signal strength much improved however ironically several Freeview stations now lost due to frequency shifts for mobile use and 5G.
