Worked Right Away
The battery worked as soon as I installed it. It was already 50% charged. Worked like a charm

1st rate battery for cut rate price
Very competitively priced and not a brand name so I was a bit apprehensive, but needlessly it turns out. The most difficult part of the installation was getting the little rubber screw covers off so I could remove the screws (and there were a lot of screws). Swapping the batteries was a snap. My laptop recognized it right away. After a nights charge, it performs like a new laptop again with several hours of additional screen time. I'm a happy camper, so to speak.

It really is a good battery
I was skeptical at first, but the battery comes up to a full charge and lasts for a long,long time. It works better than the original HP battery ever did. I was surprised by how small it was. I don't understand why they don't put a bigger battery in these laptops.

If you laptop battery is weak, definitely got this.
I am a techy but swapping the battery out of a hp Laptop is something anyone can do! Revived my laptop I have had for 4 years. My expected battery life went from 3ish hours to 5ish hours of spreadsheet work. They may not sound like a lot but has changed my experience with this laptop completely. Can reliably take this for a day of meetings now. If you are thinking about just do it all you need is a screwdriver.

battery fit perfect. easy to change out, easy to follow directions. enclosed tools are cheap, but work well for the job at hand.

The BEST. 99% Much better than many others.
This is the first battery I have bought over the years that have worked AND charges beyond 80%. Charges to 99% so I definitely recommend this one.
