Not the Ling Hing Mui of my Hawaiian Youth
When I was a young girl our family spent time living in Hawaii. When my sister and I would get our weekly allowance, 25 cents, we would walk down to the little store at the end of Kenolio Road and buy a small bag of cracked seed. The ling hing mui combination of sugar, salt, and licorice on the seeds was always my favorite. My mouth would start watering just thinking about it as we walked to the store. As I grew older I would add the powder to other snacks (fruit, popcorn, shave ice). Aspartame gives me headaches so this "No Aspartame" powder looked like it could be promising. That was not to be the case. I found this powder to be rather tasteless and there are white lumps in it. The "California Residents Proposition 65" warning was a bit alarming too-wish I would have noticed that in the image before I purchased. The bag is in the trash. Thanks for the try but it was rather disappointing.

Tastes just like I temember
I fell in love with this powder when I visited Hawaii. Now it’s a necessity when I’m eating fresh fruit. The price was fair , although I probably would’ve paid anything to get my hands on some more of this. It’s a family summer staple!

I loved this product. I had just gotten home from Hawaii when I ordered it. They put it on a lot of fruit and I even had it put on my Dole whip there. A little expensive for the amount, but so worth it and this one didn't have sucralose in it which made it even better.

Hawaii’s Tajin
We discovered this in Maui and they sprinkle it on pineapple! It’s so yummy! I bought some for my sister’s shave ice stand in Oklahoma too!

Tastes terrible
This tastes nothing like the powder I’ve had in Hawaii and ordered from other companies in the past on Amazon. There was barely any plum flavor.
