The Perfect Shoe
I've always loved sketchers for how comfortable they are. The only thing I've ever disliked was that the soles wore out really quickly. But it seems this shoe has an answer to that.Firstly, the shoes are so comfortable. Memory foam insole, gel/air cushion at the mid point, and the sole is made by Goodyear (the tyre manufacturer). They make a big deal about the soles being made by this company, and the tread on these shoes seems much better made than on normal sketchers. You can get much better grip and the materials used are a better quality. Haven't had then a long time so can't comment on the soles longevity, but I'm pretty sure they'll last.The shoe is also really supportive and they look great. I doubt these shoes will be waterproof to the same point of a hiking boot, but they are supposed to be water repellent. But again this has not been tested.But I love these shoes already, to the point that I want another pair already as a backup.

First Pair of Skechers
This is my first pair of Skechers, I need to say I am impressed. I bought them for a short holiday in the north of Scotland, quite rugged areas, coast and beach walks. They were perfect fit the bill, I have two dogs so do a wee bit of walking. I can't say too much about the levels of water repellence, it didn’t rain! However, the shoes were on for hours of the day, driving and walking, they are easy to get on (the heel doesn’t collapse as with some shoes). They were smart looking (when going to the pub) and rugged enough for a light bit of hill walking. The only complaint is that the laces are a bit short, although they didn’t come loose as in other reviews. I’ll be looking at more Skechers in the future, very pleased.
