I love this pan! Especially good for pasta and homemade soup.
The media could not be loaded. The first thing I did when I got this pan was boil water and make pasta. The taper on the pan had me worried at first but it fit on my "big" burner just fine and the fire did not come up the sides of the pan at all. The bottom of the pan is weighted and thick. When I make homemade soup, I always start with the carrots, onion, and celery in a little olive oil to get the flavors going and this pan did a great job with that.I've used it probably six times already and I've only had it a week. It's the kind of pan that makes you want to cook things in it because things turn out well. The handles are riveted on and it's so nice to have the two handles on the sides instead of the long stick-type handle so nothing sticks out over the edge of the stove. Even better, they don't seem to get noticably hot. Be careful, your stove might be different, but I haven't had a problem with hot handles yet. It's easy to clean. It stays on my stove because with a family of five, it's the right size for a lot of the things I make. It immediately became my kitchen workhorse pan and hasn't been off the stove yet except when I've washed it in the sink and put it in the drainer to dry!According to the box, the pan is safe in the oven up to 550 degrees and the lid is good up to 400 degrees. If I do bake in it and it doesn't go well, I'll update my review for sure, but I don't think it's going to be a problem. It's also great for homemade pasta because the heavy bottom keeps the heat but the taper lets the pasta have room to cook and it's less likely to stick together. I'm just so happy I bought this pan and I look forward to using it for many years to come!

Amazing ....a 10 🌟star
So happy with duxtop brand. This pot is so beautiful, even heat distribution, does not warp. I've bought others and it cannot compare . Cleanup is a breeze and so worth the value. I also bought the 5.6 quart saute pan , and it's amazing. Highly recommend.
