Great fun
This electric engine is perfect for the Brio type tracks. It has working headlights, a forward and reverse option, and comes with another car that has a rider. My 5 year old grandson’s favorite.

Reliable, strong, and fast!
The media could not be loaded. This train is strong enough to pull 8-10 cars. Our kids love this train set. We’ve bought this train in the past, but for some reason the sound stops really fast on this new version. The old version had the sound stay on forever, which was great. That’s the only thing we’d change is for the sound to stay on. This train works on all types of wood tracks.

Defective
I have this train and it works great. So I sent one to my grandson. Arrived defective and we were both so disappointed. I went to their site and tried to contact them. Have not heard back. I am really hoping I can get a replacement train for him that works.

Train stuck when climbing up the bridge…
The media could not be loaded. We have same brand of wooden train set 39pcs for couples months and my 2.5 years old son Love. So we purchased this battery train for him but it stuck when climbing up the bridge…

Kids Loved It!
My fiance got this for his niece and nephew, who absolutely loved it. They had it going for several hours; the battery did slip off after a bit, but to be fair, they had it on constantly for a few hours lol. The light is super bright and looks awesome in the dark. It fits perfectly into the assembling wooden tracks that you can put together.

First one didn’t last long
The sounds aren’t too loud and my son loves that it can go forward or backwards. Unfortunately, the first one just didn’t last long and that’s the reason for the 3 stars. This is our second one. We normally wouldn’t buy another one after how quickly the first one quit working but we gave in because my son loved it so much. If this second one lasts longer than the first, I’ll update my review with more stars because it is a fun toy. I just expect good quality for the price.

The perfect gift for my son!
My son loves trains, I decided to buy him one to add to others he already had. What I notice is that he loses strength on its way up to the bridges, I think it is because of the position of the tires. It is robust, the lights illuminate very well and my son really likes the sound it makes. I would recommend purchasing it, I would just keep in mind that if I want to add more cars it may be difficult to climb bridges.
