Quality hard wood product delivered in protective packaging. Slats have rounded edges only requiring drilling to your own size requirements. Recommend Teak oil treatment before installation. Round head bolts supplied with squared shanks for secure tightening. Highly recommended.

Lovely sturdy slats to replace old ones on a garden bench. Overall very good however a few slats were stained.

My thirty odd garden bench and chair had rotted to extent that they were dangerous. Replacement cost was prohibitive and of a lesser quality, aluminium end frames rather than cast iron so replacement timber slats was a viable option and a nice summer project refurbishing them . Straight forward and enjoyable project. I’m particularly pleased that stainless steel coach bolts were included.

Top quality

Amazon do a quick drying linseed oil that is easy to apply and not as pungent as the old original. It is recommended for timber chopping boards. Brings up the colour of the Sapele and looks great. People think it is a new seat.

Exactly right for the job, now a nice refurbished bench, expensive but still cheaper than buying new. The stainless steel bolts were a welcome bonus.
