Less than impressed
The item arrived damaged. Customer support advised me to contact the seller and the seller advised me to contact customer support, and around we go! . I reached out to Dragonfire directly and though they did read my message, they did not respond.I ordered this item specifically for a party this coming weekend. I do not want to return and wait other three weeks only to end up with another damaged fire pit, as the damage is obviously caused by insufficient packaging. I chose to keep the product, now I am regretting my decision. The fire pit is NOT smokeless. I have kept the logs below the air vents and still it smokes like any regular cheap run of the mill fire pit would.

Another of my grand mistakes
The only way to empty ashes out at the end of each day's burning is to turn it upside down and bang it on the ground or patio. And it must be done to keep air holes free of ash. Most inconvenient! Hard on eighty year old back.Best done onto newspaper for easier ash disposal. Put ash in your garden or landscape beds as soil amendment.Comments: Yes, it is going to rust. All steel will unless will stainless. Thus, most firepits of steel will rust. And steel will eventually be deformed from high heat. Also, remember that it is "smoke-less"; it is not "no-smoke". To burn off the smoke the flame must be kept hot and visible. I estimate it burns off 80% of the smoke.Other more expensive smokeless firepits have a removable ash tray.UPDATE 02-12-22. As we learned in chemistry, iron and steel burn. We have had this since October 2021 or about 3.5 months. We have had about 20 to 25 fires with it. Already the bottom grate is highly deformed. I do not expect this firepit to last more than a year.It has also turned into a rust bucket inside and out. But that is expected in the western side of Washington state.Update March 16, 2022. One star. It is a POS. Bought about October 26, 2021. . The grate in bottom is burnt out now after maybe 45 separate burning events.I would never buy again.

Wish the color paint didn’t wear and chip
The fireplace did well keeping smoke down however pictures show after one use and it appears the paint is chipping and melting which I was disappointed as it was a $200 fire pit. Wish it had handles as you have the bear hug it to move it.

Not great
Horrible, 2 uses the inside racking is falling apart, paint chipped like no tomorrow, it’s just a sitting rust bucket, does nothing for the smoke either.

Don’t Buy This - Deteriorates Quickly
Please spare yourself the heartache of buying an expensive fire pit with only a 30 day warranty. Our pit is deteriorating after only a handful of uses. We spent way too much on it for it to already be ready for the trash. I can only assume that these positive reviews were after only a couple of uses. Very disappointing.
