was looking forward to an alternative. I received it and shook the bottle like crazy but there was still clumps. Ended up having to contact a live rep to get refund which was a hassle. Buyer beware

We have been ordering vanilla and strawberry for awhile now. Always good BUT there is thick clambered stuff in the bottom of every bottle. You can't mix it up even if you pour it into a cup first. The taste is somewhat different but something is wrong when the bottom won't mix and is thick and chunky. We have 2 cases of vanilla and strawberry that are like this too. I replaced the4 cases and we just received 4 more cases that are exactly the same. They are filled with clumps that don't and won't dissolve and it says that I can't return them.

Assuming that the label is correct and it really does have 30 grams of protein, I've not found a tastier, quicker way to get that. It's my breakfast drink. I've only tried the Vanilla. Can't speak to the other flavors. Now there are going to be people that say it's got too much sodium, or not enough of this or that. I don't care about that. I'm not a health nut, but I do support athletic activity. I'm a little overweight in my mind, but 5 to 7 pounds and I'll be right where I want to be. This is a great tasting product that fits my lifestyle.

Great value, taste and ingredients. Only reason it's not perfect is even with shaking very well there's still some unmixed protein left on the bottom of every bottle.

So I used to like this product because I would buy it at the store in the little cardboard boxes. By now prefer buying my protein in plastic bottles though. This brand has an okay flavor, but what really attracted me to it was the low calorie to protein split.Anyway, after buying it in these plastic bottles from Amazon, my husband and I both noticed that you will drink about half the bottle and then discover all of the protein is curdled up in a big solid wad at the bottom of the plastic bottle. It is so thick it is impossible to shake it all up and get to it, so you probably aren't even getting the protein. When you get to the bottom of the bottle, giant chunks of slimy goo fall into your mouth and it's enough to make you want to vomit. I've never had this problem with the other top protein that I buy off at Amazon, so I'm goes just going to stick with the other brand. No sense in buying a product where I don't even get the protein, and only get about a half bottle of liquid.

I really like these shakes, especially for a quick pick-me-up. I tried chocolate and vanilla, and like the vanilla best. I tend to gravitate towards chocolate, but the vanilla in this brand is better. They also fill me up between meals. The price is a little more than I hoped for, and I've since I tried these I found that Muscle Milk is a great alternative at a much lower cost.

While the flavors remain constant, and the nutritive values are persistent, the formula is either reacting negatively to the plastic containers or the formula has changed, as I've found, even after vigorously shaking to mix it, that I have congealed bits of shake while consuming the shake. The congealed Lumos are less than palatable, so I have resorted to mixing the shakes in my blender.

This is my first time ordering Pure Protein shakes from Amazon. i am very disappointed in the product quality. We buy Pure Protein from other suppliers like Costco and have never had the problem we have with these. The shakes have gooey lumps in them like maybe they got too hot or something else causing the lumps. We shake up as hard as we can but the lumps do not dissolve. The "use by" date is August 2023 so it is not as issue but no idea why the shakes have lumps in them.
