They worked!
Bought these on recommendation of my musician nephew to use at a concert he was playing in. They worked a treat and didn't interfere at all with the performance.

OK ear plugs but uncomfortable after a fairly short period of time.
Inserting these ear plugs was straightforward enough, once I was able to use my phone to magnify the tiny print on the instructions that came with them. The noise reduction is just OK; the sound is muffled and reduced slightly but it doesn't provide proper noise cancellation. I use these when at classes at the gym where the music is too loud for me. It did reduce the noise a little, and I know the classes well enough not to need to hear the teacher very well. The plugs also stayed in during a fairly strenuous, moving exercise class.I do find them uncomfortable and can't wear them for longer than 45 minutes, so these would not be a good solution for concerts or other long-form events. They are one-size-fits-all so I guess my ears aren't a standard size!

Not too shabby for the current price of £8.99. Protect your ears for not much money!
These Earhub earplugs come neatly packaged in a pink card box, with white text. The packaging sets a good first impression. Inside, you'll get the earplugs themselves along with a robust cylindrical metal carry case. The case is similar to other brands I have used in the past. It's a good solution, with a screw on lid and a keyring attachment. So far so good. The earrings protectors boast 23db filters, which I've no reason to doubt. 23db is ample reduction for most applications. In use, I've found that the filters are fine for band rehearsals with a loud drummer, or for listening to very loud gigs. I've also used them whilst mowing the lawn with a petrol mower and they're fine for that too. They are, perhaps, not as good as some other brands between twenty and thirty pounds at filtering with some of the higher frequency intact. These do feel more muffled. But for the current price of £8.99, I would say they were a great value option.

Ok but not great
Seemed ok at first but became very uncomfortable after about 10 mins, not like the old ones I used to have where I could leave them in for 6 hours with no problems. These just muffle the sound, which includes conversation with people close to you, when you talk you sound like you have a bucket over your head? Not great but at £9, you get what you pay for. There are far better earplugs out there if you’re looking for musician grade ones. These are probably fine for stadium events - as long as you’re in the high audience seats and not performing on stage!
