I ordered these collars for my hyper pitty boy, and his very docile hound brother. The pitty is a year old and just loves everyone SO much, but he is a bit TOO much. The hound has tremendous separation anxiety and can be very skittish. I got the collars to help calm them both, but on different levels. They work well, especially when we have company. They definitely won't make your pup an angel, they're still themselves, but I really do think my boys were calmer and more manageable.I didn't make the collar too tight so that I could move it up and down along their necks to scratch under it for them, which they enjoy.I have to say, in addition to the calming effect, the collars just make your pup smell GREAT! lol And it lasts for a while too! My husband joked that the lavender scent is actually just soothing to me, the human, so that I in turn am calmer around my hyper pups allowing me to manage them better (haha). There may be something to that, IDK lol, but either way I am satisfied with the results and we will buy again, especially for the price. They are easy to put on and adjust and the dogs don't mind them. Two thumbs up.

Well I had my hopes up but this didn’t make the cut. I tried them on all 3 of my dogs. They typically only bark when we leave and if someone slams a door. I was hoping that these would improve their anxiety of us leaving but they did absolutely nothing.large dog- he’s calm but gets a little fussy when we don’t take him out with us every time we go outside. he could have cared less if it was there or not but it didn’t change anything to help him calm.Medium dog- she is our wanna be sheep dog… she tries to round up the other two when they head to the door and barks at them in the process. Again didn’t do anything to help calm her plus she figured out how to take it off. Almost as though she didn’t like the way it felt. Leaves her chain collar on but not this. She has short hair so I don’t get the impression that it was pulling at her hair but who knows.Ahh yes, and then there’s our small dog. Little Napoleon of sorts. She’s our medium size dogs mom so I get the impression she’s trying to train her daughter to back off but well that’s not so easy because well… she’s small. Lol anyway she didn’t really care to much about the collar but it didn’t really do anything for her anxiety either.All 3 of my dogs get walked regularly and have plenty of outdoor time which gives me the impression that maybe they have just grown to expect us to bring them everywhere we go period but the bottom line is for our situation these collars did zero.On another note my kids will never be able to sneak out of the house in the middle of the night. 😂

If you have a dog companion and he/she suffers from separation anxiety as simple as you going to the bathroom or closing your bedroom door then buy this immediately. If your nose is sensitive to dog smell or your guest are then buy this immediately. My pup loves grooming herself after she eats which is the cause of her smell but with this collar and wiping her face after she eats all you'll smell from now on is the wonderful scent of lavender.On top the calming affect, I'll admit I was skeptical about the effectiveness of lavender working on a dog like it works with us bi pedal meat bags 😂 but it truly does. Am I anthropomorphizing? Maybe but I don't think so because it's certainly a lot less whining then before the collar. Luna will still follow you but she'll just sit on her own and wait and is much less audible in her desire to be with you and if we take too long when you open the door she's not there but in her bed.Even better she's less skittish around new people then she was before. I have no idea how lavender works but I'm extremely happy it does and even better this doesn't causes my Luna to itch nor does she try to remove it.My pup is small so I could have cut the excess collar too size but I simply wrapped and applied a small piece of tape. Why waste some of the collar and throw away a nice scent and some of what you paid for if you don't need to. You could also and I do suggest this as well is cut the excess and put it in your pillow case because you'll love the smell.Pro's- Cheap and includes three of them- Smell wonderful- Reduces anxiety in dog- Can fit any size dog- Scent Last long, 2 weeks in & still amazing- Would definitely recommendCons- I didn't know about this sooner nor did I look for this so someone needs to get the word out and advertise. I simply was buying items for my dog and this came up so I'm extremely glad it did.
