Absolutely worth it! The noise is so quiet you can’t hear it when you sleep. Keeps the air so clean, that you can smell a difference. Design is more modern and I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a better air quality

I recently purchased the Shark HP232 Clean Sense Air Purifier MAX, and so far, it has been a great addition to my home. The purifier has proven to be effective in detecting and reducing allergens and odors. For example, it immediately kicks into high gear when there's smoke from cooking or when I open the door to my brother's room after it has been closed all day. It's clear that this purifier is actively working to improve the air quality by picking up allergens, and the added air freshener feature is a nice touch that makes my living room smell fresher.Setting up the Shark HP232 was a breeze. The process was incredibly straightforward, taking me no more than five minutes to complete. The manual provided was easy to read and follow, making the entire setup process seamless.One minor issue I've noticed is the noise level when the air quality drops below 70%. It sounds similar to a standard box fan—not overly loud, but noticeable enough. Given that this is part and parcel of maintaining air quality, it’s a small trade-off for the benefits it provides.My apartment is relatively small, so the air purifier might be overkill for my space, but it effectively covers the entire home. I was surprised by the size of the unit—it was much bigger than I anticipated. I didn’t pay close attention to the dimensions and had to find a new spot for it, but it ultimately worked out well. The size does not detract from its functionality, as it seems to be doing an excellent job.I purchased this air purifier because I care for my older brother, who has asthma, and we have a short-haired dog whose dander I suspected was exacerbating his condition. While it's still early to tell if it has made a significant impact on his asthma, I've noticed a decrease in dust accumulation. Our weekly cleaner has also remarked on the reduction of dust, which is a positive sign.Overall, the Shark HP232 Clean Sense Air Purifier MAX has been a worthwhile investment for maintaining better air quality in my home. Awesome filter. The filter itself that came with the unit lasted a good few months before it needed to be changed. Does a great overall job of maintaining good air quality. The user interface (UI) is easy to navigate and it can display important information such as air quality and filter life. Being able to see the filter life helps me purchase replacement filters when I need to. I leave it on auto most of the time and it’s quiet enough that I forget that I leave it on sometimes. With frequent use, dust does collect at the inlet of the unit as well as the top. Dusting it off once in a while helps maintain maximum airflow. In addition as time goes on the, when the filter is close to the end of its life, there is a noticeable drop in air flow but still does a good job of filtering the air.

Great little filter. We have one in each room and the large one in the living room. We have had the large one for a year and these little ones a few months. Have no issues with operation or use.Pros:These have so many benefits:-helps tremendously with allergies and dust-clears the air after cooking, hair drying, strong scented candles if it’s close by, cooking/frying-little to no maintenance. Indicator lights up when it’s time to clean the side filters-change the inside filter once a year for the small one and every 5 years for the large filter-helps reduce sour and foul odors (if you have teens you know what I mean)Cons:NoneHighly recommended

As we have an older home and forced air we picked up two. We found the dust on the furniture was reduced. We placed it next to the air intake vents for the heating/cooling system. When we open it, it’s incredible to see what it’s capturing. They are quiet and doing a great job.

I purchased this one with Sense IQ. Purchased just over a week ago.It has great options on it, and can set it for as many hours as you would like to.The cost went down since I purchased it, by $20, so not happy with that.It cleans the air, it smells great. It shows a reading for air quality and particles, and adjusts itself until the air quality is back up to 97%.Haven't been able to get it to 100%, but am ok with the 97%.

I researched a number of air purifiers after the LA fires and ultimately it came down to this and Air Doctor. This won out because it was slightly smaller, looked better, had more options and reports were it was quieter. The digital display is fascinating - once it runs, it tends to maintain air quality well, but when I cook or keep the windows on, I notice the air quality numbers going down and it automatically switches on. Within minutes it's back to 100.When it's running on high it's not too loud, but it shouldn't run at high for more than 30 minutes. Once it goes down to low, it's barely noticeable.I've been using these for three weeks and have found the dust on my book shelves is noticeably less.I have three running in my house and swear I wake up with clearer sinuses than I have in years!
