Problemas iniciales pero después funcionó
Estos filtros traen instrucciones de instalación ligeramente diferentes a los que muestra el instructivo de la cafetera Breville. Recomiendo que sigan ambos. Después de instalar el filtro, la bomba de la cafetera se comportó extraño, particularmente al servir el agua caliente para el café americano, pero también en la extracción (variaba exageradamente el caudal de agua cada dos o tres segundos. Finalmente se resolvió el problema haciendo un purgado de la cafetera (reinicializándola a la configuración de fábrica), y haciendo uno o dos ciclos de vapor (como los que se ejecutan para hacer capuchino o latte). Con ello el funcionamiento de la bomba y el caudal de agua se normalizaron y el producto final -el café- volvió a ser delicioso. Estos filtros, además de su costo razonable, resuelven el problema de la inexistencia mundial del filtro original Breville.
