fantastic audio
Absolutely love these headphones I use for gaming the 7.1 directional sound is really nice and clear when I play FPS games, very comfortable and lightweight. I did have an issue where the arm snapped I contacted Corsair support and they were amazing and incredibly helpful they helped me sort an RMA something I have never done before and they sorted a replacement for me within a week fantastic work Corsair support :) best headset I have had in a long time :)

An excellent pair of headphones.
This is Corsair's less expensive and 'cut-down' pair of headphones. The sound quality is good and expansive enough to do justice to games or classical music. They come fitted with a 3.5 mm audio connector but also have a small gadget that converts the audio jack into a USB. the microphone boom is stiff, and bendable, and automatically mutes when pushed up. I find the ear cups comfortable as I wear glasses. The only complaint I have is the cord has the ability to tie itself in knots, even at rest.I always buy Corsair headphone sets for their quality.

Pretty good
The sound quality is pretty good, not amazing, but pretty good. You have to use icue for the surround effect and that adds an extra +15 seconds to computer startup time and has to be constantly running in the background collecting who knows what data. But then you can mess with the EQ and improve things a little. They're very comfortable, they actually fit around my entire ear which is rare. I am slightly concerned about longevity based on other reviews. We'll see.

Great for gaming
Bought these for my son after his old gaming headset packed in. He’s very impressed with them and in particular the clarity of the sound. It hasn’t stopped me having to tell him to stop shouting at his mates though!

Very fragile in comparison to other headsets I have owned!
After 1 year of use, the plastic that joined the headphones to the headband with cable ties, super glue and tape. The headphones were kept on a stand on my desk, and yet somehow, the plastic just disintegrated. The fix held for another couple months and then one day, the left headphone just snapped off.The audio quality is astounding, the microphone is really amazing. It's just a shame the headset is made of such fragile brittle plastic. Would not recommend.

Probably the best value gaming headset you can buy
Extremely happy with these. The thick headband and deep earcups make them comfortable. The flip up mic is great as it stays out of the way when not using it, the quality is very good for the price either when you plug them directly to PC case or to the included USB sound card. Audio quality is also good, if you want to use EQ then just use the USB sound card and ICUE. They also support Nvidia broadcast for background noise cancelation of the mic but I haven't used this so can't comment on how effective it is. So much better than my old Hyper X cloud alphas.

They dont make them like they used to
Yes sound is good but boy the level of quality in the build is poundland value. They feel cheap and flimsy.I have just binned my last Corsair Headset and now i feel sad as even though the cable was disintegrating the rest of them were fine.I guess everything is becoming use once then throw.

Great but very fragile.
One of the best sounding headsets i have ever used but the build quilty is poor at points where any stress is applied.ProsExtreamly Comfortable even after 6+ hours of use.Great Sound.Clear Mic.Consthe Hinges wear the headphones connect to the head strap are prone to cracking and falling apart.
