Real shell, great chatoyance
Thin shell with some filled voids. Not as beautiful as cut shell, but it is much easier dtobuse and cheaper. The backing and adhesive is strong. Now if I can just find a better way to cut it cleanly...

Its easy to cut with a scissor and shape with sandpaper.

Visible cross hatch pattern over all of it
There is a scribed cross hatch pattern that is very visible over it all, presumably to make it bendable, however it looks like little white dots more than a sheet of Mother of Pearl. The sheen/glimmer that your eye recognizes as mother of Pearl is broken up every 2mm or so, so it’s just very pixilated, is the best way to describe it? I won’t be able to use it for my project.
