I like this brand of collagen powder and this is my fifth or sixth repurchase. I have been taking it daily for over a year. Collagen pills did absolutely nothing for me, primarily because you don't take enough to make a real difference--that's my opinion based on personal experience. I started taking this product with a double dose for three months and now maintain with a regular dose. I originally bought it to help with my skin, but have experienced improved gut health and my hair is growing in healthier and softer, and oddly, a little bit darker. I thought maybe this was my imagination but my hairdresser noticed it, too. YMMV, but that is what happened for me. My skin looks great and I am hopeful that continued use will help me maintain a youthful complexion. I noticed a difference in my skin after a couple of weeks. I took before and after photos but I don't know what I've done with them. If I find them, I will post them here. I also notice that I don't need as much body lotion every day, which is nice because I tend toward drier skin. I still use lotion, but I don't notice the dryness and itchiness that I used to get, which was aggravated in winter. No real change to my nail health, but I didn't buy it for that. I also bought a package for my father who was getting ready to undergo a serious shoulder surgery. I wanted to make sure he had plenty of amino acids to aid in healing, plus his doc said the best thing for him was protein, so I had him take this twice a day for a couple of weeks before surgery and after surgery, and then continue with the regular dose indefinitely. He doesn't love the taste but takes it anyway. I tried another brand and noticed more of a beefy taste which I didn't love. Zint seems to dissolve better, so that makes it easier to get down. I use just enough warm water so that it dissolves and take it quickly like a shot. I also add it to protein shakes and green smoothies for a boost of protein. Overall, this is a win for me and I am glad I found it in such a large size.Update 1/22/2019: I’m just sold on the benefits of collagen whether doctors agree or not. I’ve been taking this for two solid years now. My skin looks great and is soft and bounces back. Collagen definitely improved my hair. It didn’t cause it to be thicker, but it’s definitely healthier and also caused new growth to be darker and shinier. I think I mentioned that in my first review, but it was more noticeable after taking it for another year. Another surprise benefit is gum health. Who knew??? It makes sense though. My gums were delicate for a few years after some dental surgery and after taking this consistently, they’ve become healthier and stronger. I wasn’t expecting that at all so didn’t make the association at first.Collagen is basically a shot of pure amino acids. Zint seems to dissolve better than Vital Proteins, which I also like, but VP is much more expensive and my body can’t tell a difference in the price!! There are others but they seem much more expensive for what you get. I’ve tried them, and this is still my go-to. I think you’re missing the youth boat if you don’t take collagen every day. It’s clearly helped my skin and hair, and I can tell when I skip a couple of days so I try to be consistent. There’s nothing immediately spectacular about this product but with continued use, I think you’ll be pleased. It’s one of those products where it’s easy to become neglectful of it and you don’t realize the true benefit until you stop taking it. I take it regularly, 6-7 times per week. I mix it in hot cocoa or water/tea, and I also put it in smoothies, juices, and soups. It adds an instant protein and amino acid boost and it makes a big difference in my digestive health and function. I personally feel it was a big factor in my dad’s year-long healing from shoulder surgery. The amino acids really helped him heal quicker than the other surgeries. He’s had a couple of surgeries and this was the first one where he took collagen before and after and his bones healed quickly and very well according to the doctor. The doc sort of poo-pooed me when I mentioned it initially but he did note that he healed well and was back to regular activity a little quicker than expected, so...doesn’t mean it was the collagen BUT it doesn’t mean it wasn’t, either, so take that for what it’s worth. The only real complaint I have is that I wish the price would remain consistent. It can vary by $6 or more depending on the day and that’s annoying. This is the only collagen that mixes in my coffee without clumps. I do use a frother.

This product has improved my skin, I noticed the difference within a week in my lips, which were always chapped. I also noticed improvement in my joints, my shoulder and knees pain is gone.I have tried other 3 brands before bumping into this heavy metal list and they were either in the list with traces of heavy metal, they were in the list with no trace but did nothing to my body, or they were not in the list al all, so I decided to change to this brand and I’m very happy with the results.I bought the one with no flavor, and really has no taste at all. I use it in my coffee every morning and dissolves right away with a spoon swirl.

I was uncertain about how this would be but I actually really like it. It mixes well and has a nice flavor. It's 40 calories a serving so it's perfect to help get in more water. Flavor is subtle and not over-powering.

The product arrived in a timely manner. It mixes well with hot or cold drinks! My body knows when I haven't drank my Collagen!

I've been using collagen powder for about 10 months now and have tried a lot of different brands.First, I'm a vegetarian and I know it's weird that I consume collagen, but I know my body needs this and I don't see the same benefits in marine collagen. As a long time runner who is now creeping up on 50 I can say this has been a lifesaver for my knees and keeps me hitting the trails with my faithful 4 legged running buddy. It has also given me major benefits with regard to my hair and skin. You get a lot of servings for a great price and my skin is so much softer all the way around and my hair has incredible shine and growth (even my hair dresser comments on my hair). This is a very clean brand. It is literally tasteless in my coffee and tea, I drink it daily and most days get a second serving in the evening in my herbal tea. This product is also Kosher, which while I am not Jewish I do pay attention to the Kosher labeling of foods and you should too if you want clean animal products. So you are getting a grass fed beef product that is certified Non-GMO, GF, & Kosher...and it works. I have never had any stomach upset or side effects that other collagen products often cause. Definitely recommend!

I love this product and have used it for years. My body loves the collagen protein and uses it with gusto! There is no taste that I can perceive, so my 40+ year vegetarian taste buds get it down just fine in my oatmeal.However, this new round package is terrible. I have large hands but I find this round package with the larger screw cap very difficult to open. The round package itself gives me nothing to grab onto (the old square container let me grip it easily) and the larger cap is almost too much for even my large hands to grip well enough to turn it. I have to hold the package with my left arm against my body in order to get a secure enough grip to get the lid off. Thank heavens I still had my old square container as I poured the product from this awful round container into it and now have no difficulty opening the container to access the product. Wishing like crazy that the company would return to the square packaging,
