I think you have to be aware that it's not going to work amazingly if humidity levels are too high if you add water / iceI like that it's easy to move around, and it doesn't use as much electricity as air con ie: it's a more efficient use of power. It's not particularly noisy and it's well built.It obviously won't work as well when it's too humid though, and fans wouldn't work then either. It's still however better than a fan

This was our first cooler and it works great, is powerful enough and comes with two reusable ice packs that are very convenient to keep the air coming out nice and cool. However, devices such as this one, no matter the brand, won't noticeably decrease the temperature in a room. It will cool you off if you are in font of the stream of air, but it won't cool down your flat as an AC unit would. We're happy with the purchase but might still buy an AC unit in the future.

2 bottles of tap water chilled in the fridge together with the ice packs provided and it's almost as good as a split-level unit. Cools down the room a treat. Easy to move around from room to room. So good we bought a second unit for upstairs.

You ought to provide a hosepipe and universal tap connector so you can fill up the 50-litrewater tank with ease. This system would rid of tedious and heavy lifting of buckets of water filling upthe water tank! Furthermore,when you come to the end of a hot period,or periods,or the end of the hot season,there is almost certainly a large surplus of unused water still in the water tank.This water is difficult to get rid of,so you also ought to provide another hosepipe and a electric water pump unit to pump this water out of the tank and down the sink's drainpipe.I do realise it would increase cost of the Igenix watercooler,but this machine would be even more bettervalue for money!REDHP. 29-6-2023

Would be better if you can easily remove the water tank

It doesn't have a dehumidifier function! Stop advertising like that!!

Quite an imposing unit, no wheels like other units. Far more solid base, slowest speed, a lovely breeze can be felt from 10-12ft. Activate the cold water spray and it drops temperature by 14f. Cooler packs supplied. I put water in a plastic tray, freeze and put that in.

I barely used this air cooler before I woke up to smoke and the fan sparking away. Genuinely a terrifying experience. I would not buy it, unless you want a risk of a fire hazard. Disappointed is not the word.
